Purchased a travel sized Botanical mask and a travel sized Botanical shampoo. I have long, coloured, sun-bleached hair, so my hair was getting a bit dry on the length's. I had been using Nutri-plenish but wanted to try the new 'stuff'. After washing my hair and rinsing it after using Botanical repair, I noticed how my wet hair held together smoothly and didn't feel 'plasticy' (like doll hair). I then used the Botanical masque and rinsed. It was after blow drying after about an hour, I noticed how smooth my hair felt and how it swung as a unit, no 'fly-aways'. My hair hasn't looked this good for, well, years. Fantastic. More expensive but I think the results are worth it.

I would definitely buy again!
First time I've used this range, and I must say it's left my hair feeling amazing. I have extremely dry hair and scalp. This has left my hair feeling soft and shiny. Which is very unusual for my corse dry hair. What's more is that I didn't have any conditioner to use and even still, this has provided incredible moisture. Big 5/5 from me. Think I've finally found a shampoo I can stick with. Happy days!

Wow!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this little sample set. Left my hair feeling soft and nourished and shiny. Loved the smell! The only thing that holds me back from the full purchase is the RRP very expensive

Not the same
I have used this particular shampoo for years and it was my holy grail. I can no longer use it as it causes my scalp to itch like crazy and I always seem to shed more when I use this. It seems to be reformulated or some ingredients may have changed but I will use something else now.

Botanical strengthening shampoo and conditioner
This product has caused terrible shedding for my hair. At first I thought it's just because hair needs time to get used to a new product. But it got worse and worse and now for certain I can say that my hair is awfully shedding because of this product. My scalp feels dry and it's a bit flaky after using this product. My hair has gotten horribly dry and sheds so bad that I'm looking for clinical treatments! awful just awful!

Can't get over the smell
Recommend to trial this first, to me it smells like old, wet socks - not the spa experience I have come to expect from Aveda. I love natural scents, including the Sap Moss, so not sure what went wrong here. The product itself it up to par, but no better than any other Aveda offering and so not justifying a higher price point. A case of marketing over substance unfortunately. A miss for me.

Changed product
I used to use and love botanical repair shampoo and conditioner, however, after coming back to it after a break it seems to have changed and not in a good way! Now when I use this my hair feels awful! It feels dry, brittle and like chewing gum, I also notice more hair loss but that may be unrelated. Overall I will no longer be using or recommending botanical repair, which is a real shame.
