Holds firm!
My curly hair really does have a mind of its own, so when I tried this as a gift set sized product and found it kept my hair in shape, I was over the moon!! Having finished the small size, I bought this one and haven't been disappointed. Has a pleasant smell, "washes" out with a rinse of water if you are only dampening hair to re-style as opposed to washing everyday. Unlike other "firm" hold hairsprays, it doesn't make your hair brick hard, yet still holds in place. Best I've found yet!

Wedding Hair
My son and daughter in law married in Florence, Italy in June 2014 and been mother of the groom I wanted a pin up just to fit nicely under my hat. I trailed my mum and dad around Florence the day before the wedding in blistering 40 degree heat only to find an Aveda salon near to where we were staying and the Hairdresser used the best products and I had the amazing style every mother of the groom should have I ended up paying 100 Euros for my hair that day but it lasted for a full two days I have the most heaviest blonde hair in the world but the best products were used to create a beautiful style and fantastic pictures were everybody agreed I looked stunning too especially with the help of Control force hairspray and a really good stylist... So thanks so much AVEDA Excellent product

Amazing controlforce
Amazing! I almost ignored this product because of the previous reviews, thank goodness I didn't. I am completely new to Aveda products but I've worked within the hairdressing industry for sixteen years. This hair spray is fantastic. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I have very straight medium textured hair and I'm currently sporting a James Dean style quiff. I used to use four different styling products by premium brands to get my hair to hold. Now I use one. It's my belief that the previous reviewers were either using the spray incorrectly or using the wrong product entirely for their requirements. I'd like to add that this is the first time I've used an aveda product (I've subsequently bought shampure shampoo and conditioner, which I love) and the first time that I have been inspired to review a product.

Does its job well.
I love this product, but I don't really like hairspray! But I can use this and it doesn't look as if I'm using spray, holds my hair gently, and doesn't need reapplying during the day. Great for fine hair. AND I've never had a blocked nozzle with this product although I have with others?

Best hairspray I've come across...
After having tried all sorts of different hairsprays, this is by far the best one I've tried. Might be a little overpriced for what it is, but still does a great job for a small amount of application. It doesn't leave you with white marks on your hair, like most hairsprays. And it's easily brushed out at the end of the day. Also washes off really easily. The nozzle does get clogged up after about half a canister's use, but it's easily sorted out by washing the nozzle in warm water.

Excellent product
Gives my hair a natural looking hold without it looking too 'crispy'. I must admit it is a little pricey for a can of hairspray but in all fairness, it lasts twice as long as any other hairspray I've used. It really does combat frizz/fluffiness caused by humidity.

Brilliant stuff!
Amazing and natural hold, keeps my hair in place all day without it looking clumpy. Also really good for sculpting before spraying, so it doubles up as a styling product. Great news when travelling as I can take the teeny one - it's less to pack and fits in my handbag. Have not yet found a spray so effective which doesn't make my fine hair go flat when I spray it, or look like it's been glued into place. Definitely won't be buying anything else.

Very firm hold
This product is great if you want a really firm hold - it really does do what it says on the tin! I found it a little tricky to brush out, you only need a very small amount for a really great fix. Having learned that early on, one bottle has lasted me months. The scent is a little overpowering, otherwise excellent product for a seriously strong hold.
