Great all rounder day cream
I'm about to buy this and, the night cream because I love the actual texture of the day cream. I haven't actually tried the night cream yet but, I'm impressed with what I've actually seen in results after 2 weeks - I've been using my mother's samples as well! I hate heavy day creams and although I have an oily skin, I need moisture on cheeks in particular. This is excellent and suits my skin to perfection. It's better than Clarins other Hydra products and, I thought they were good. I'm not keen on the price but, needs must! I think it's the results that I can actually see which have persuaded me to make this purchase.

Hydrating cream with a beautiful texture
I was lucky enough to be sent a free sample of this cream. My skin is often dehydrated, this cream is just what it needs. It hydrated my skin and made it feel soft and smooth. My skin felt hydrated all day. I love the texture of the cream which is silky and not too thick or thin. I was concerned being Clarins it would be too expensive but I think it is fairly priced and I will buy a pot.

I bought the cream for the 1st time at the airport as I'd forgotten to pack my usual brand l'Oreal. The Clarins cream is fabulous; silky soft and nourishing without being at all greasy. I have found it has improved my complextion and fine wrinkles without needing to use my usual serum under moisturiser.

Like coming up for air
This cream is Devine! Not only did it feel like I’d just splashed cold refreshing water over my face but it made me feel instantly revived, refreshed and ready to go. Its soft silky texture glides on the skin and leaves it feeling plumped, hydrated, smooth and full of life. You couldn’t ask for more. I can only images how my ski would feel using in the morning if you combined both night and day cream in this range. Devine like emerging from a tropical water oasis and coming up for air for the first time.

Flaky lips
I bought this to follow on from my last old pot of the old Hydra Essentiel normal to dry cream not realising that clarins had changed the formula. Literally the next day my bottom lip started flaking at the edge and felt sore. This used to happen with the SPF15 version of the cream so I'd stopped using that one and stuck with the normal one but now it seems the new version has the same effect - very sad to have to change as I've been using hydra essentiel for 10 years!

Amazing work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And have dabbled with a few expensive brands, but haven't been that impressed if I'm honest. I'm genuinely impressed with this product as it absorbs pretty much instantly and doesn't leave a shine or greasy layer. I haven't given it a 5 star review as I find the perfume smell marginally overpowering, but manageable and it irritates my eyes if I moisturise over them - so clearly I won't be doing that.
