Best Cleanser I’ve used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. My skin is dry and oily so finding cleansers which work to cleanse my skin without drying it out is difficult but this product really left my skin feeling soft and hydrated as well as clean. Works great for am and pm use and was great in combination with skincare actives in that I felt this cleanser helped to reduce any irritation from retinoids or acids. I don’t really have wrinkles yet but when my skin gets over stripped I do get dehydration lines but since using this cleanser these have all disappeared. All in all a brilliant cleanser and I can’t wait to try CeraVe’s other facial care products.

Gentle and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying this cleanser for a few days now and so far I have only good things to say about it. I have acne prone skin but can suffer from dry patches as well as oily areas with increased sensitivity from acne medications. I have found this cleanser to be much better than other 'gentle cleansers I have used before. It doesn't dry out my dry patches but doesn't exacerbate my oily areas either, I find it kind of balances both.
My make up has been sitting on my skin much better and overall I am loving how hydrated my skin is feeling. This is fast becoming my new go to cleanser!

Great cleanser for dry to normal skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This CeraVe hydrating cleanser is perfect for my normal to dry skin! It is a milky white lotion that you massage onto your damp skin and then rinse off. It is very gentle and doesn't sting even if I wash my entire face including the sensitive eye area but it still gives me that clean and fresh feeling after I rinse it off.
I had previously tried CeraVe's SA smoothing cleanser and while I liked that one too I found it a bit drying if not followed by a moisturizer immediately. I do not get that tight/dry feeling on my skin with the hydrating cleanser. I also love that it's scent free and therefore suitable for more people.

Absolutely love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely going to buy CeraVe cleanser. I did not know before I can find a brand l can trust. My skin is just smooth after I used it. I have tried many different kind of cleanser, but because they had parfum in them, I could not used them many times. And the other cleansers made my skin dry and itchy. But the CeraVe made my skin healthy and smooth. It has no parfum so I can use it anytime even in allergy season. Easy to apply, and easy to wash it off, what is really important, because I am a mom who has no time, so I have to everything as quickly as I can. Thank you CeraVe, I love your product. I wish I knew this brand before.

Nice surprise will be swapping brands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression was the design resonated with me , the bottle looked a little medical (White/green) - something the Dr may prescribe. The bottle was of good quality with the name of the company embossed on it. From the first use the cream was hydrating. I find many products dry my skin out but this one left it smooth. It has no odour which though initially not as appealing as some other products meant it lacked the perfumes which can dry my skin out. I liked the texture of the cream and will be purchasing this again to use. Now I have tried the brand I will try some of their other products.

CeraVe is simply great, it delivers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is fantastic. It leaves my skin clean without drying and soft. The ingredients are very good, it has ceramides and hyaluronic acid which moisturise the skin and tocopherol which is like vit. E for the body. Its hypoallergenic and fragrance free and developed with dermatologists. Great pump bottle, very handy in the shower. CeraVe products are something different on the market, they really deliver what is promised, wide range to choose from and worth the price. I'm gonna use them from now on, and would recommend it to everybody to try. Good product, very happy with it.

Really great Cleanser

I was surprised at the size of this bottle and I love that it comes with a handy pump, as I find tubes to messy. 1 pump was the perfect amount for me. I wet my face and then used the cleanser on my damp skin in circular motions. Once I rinsed the cleanser off my skin instantly felt clean, hydrated and moisturised.
I usually find after using a cleanser my skin feels dry, however this cleanser kept my skin moisturised without drying it out.
I use this morning and as part of my night time routine. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more gentle but still effective cleanser.

The best emulsion for sensitive skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best emulsion for sensitive skin! A great moisturizing emulsion, especially for dry and very sensitive skin. I had a huge problem with dry, sensitive skin with a disturbed lipid barrier after sunburn, other cosmetics only irritated me. It cleans the skin very well, gives skin relief, moisturizes it well and helped to heal my problem, I have an allergic skin, very sensitive, prone to irritation at last an emulsion for me! The price is quite high, however, it is worth buying.
ADVANTAGES:

- cleans well
- rebuilds the lipid barrier
- odorless

Can you use Cera Ve hydrating cleanser to remove mascara?
I never tried but wouldnt recomend. You need separate product first (miclear water, wipes etc) designed for it and then wash leftover with cerave

Does this cleanser remove waterproof mascara?
in my experience, yes! because it’s got a lotion/balm texture it melts waterproof mascara/ heavy eyeshadow off really well.

What toner would you recommend using with this product (I have dry skin btw).
Hi to be honest I’ve tried toners because I don’t use them very often the only one I did use was a rose toner that was ok my skins sSensitive and I suffer from eczema sorry I can’t help much!

Can this cleanser we taken off just with cotton wool or does it need finding off with water? Thank you
Hey there,
As the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser does foam up a little and is best applied to wet skin, it would be best to rinse the product off otherwise the skin may feel a little tight if any trace is left behind.
