brilliant for protecting your skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from dry patches on my hands due to the change in weather, which crack and are very sore, also being a baker i'm constantly washing my hands but struggle to find a moisturiser that soaks in quickly. within a couple of days of using this my dry patches were clearing up and were soft and smoother. my husband then decided to steal it for his face and he commented that it was great as it stopped his skin stinging when he was cycling to work as it provided an effective barrier to the elements. i've already had to buy more for the whole family. and as it's unscented my son is happy to put it on as well.

Excellent, effective, does what it says!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe cream is excellent to hydrate your dry skin during the winter months. Even the most difficult area like your heels, it will smooth it out. The product has a clinical look and scent, which may or may not put you off. However, the effectiveness is good.
I have been applying it on my legs, arms and heels daily and you can see the difference.
Certainly a daily application will improve the health of your skin! Good home size, but questionable on the hygenic factor as you have to dip your hand into it to access the cream and apply. but its a minor point, not that you will want to share with anyone.

Does what it says
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this moisturising cream, it goes on easily and soaks in quickly without leaving an oily feel like I get with some other moisturisers. It has a mild fragrance. It has worked really well on the dry skin on my hands, I noticed a difference within a week of use. I use morning and night and my hands feel much softer. I also used this on my daughters hands because she gets dry hands from doing gymnastics and it is mild enough for her and has started to clear up her dry skin too. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be purchasing in the future.

Be careful
This product is wayyy stronger than I expected it to be. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin but this stings/tingles my face for around 10 minutes after application. I cannot use this everyday. I try to use this every three days. Anymore than that and my skin becomes sensitive, mainly at the tops of my cheek and around my eye area. The moisturising effects are good and I do feel hydrated so I do still like the product. I would recommend this but I’d also recommend users to be careful. I also bought this it the CeraVe moisturising cream which was a saving grace when my skin became to sensitive for the SA smoothing cream.

Instantly smooths and softens
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoothing cream is fantastic. I suffer with really dry hands as I’m out in all weathers and this instantly soothed and moisturised my hands. The cream itself is fairly thick and creamy but not greasy at all. I found that using the cream before I went to bed allowed it to sink in and really soften my dry hands. The skin on my knuckles was beginning to crack as it was so dry and after two uses I can certainly see a difference. I can see this cream being great for areas of the body that suffer with dryness but as for the face it may be too thick unless used every so often as a night cream.

OMG!
I brought this as everyone has been going on about cerave products and also because the salicylic acid as I have had really bad hormonal breakouts for the past couple of months and read that salicylic acid was the best thing for this, and getting worst over the past few weeks and really getting me down as I have never had spots in my life at 35 years old and I am a beauty therapist so it’s not a good look…. But OMG within 2 day of using this cream on just my breakout areas (as this is advertised as a body cream) it has nearly all cleared up. Also I am using the SA cleanser which I also really like. So pleased…

Magic cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser has been so good for my dry, rough skin. The texture is quite light and not too thick which is great because it absorbs so quickly and easily into my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling sticky or greasy.
The formula contains LHA, urea and salicylic acid which helps to gently exfoliate and smooth the skin. I love that it also contains ceramides which restore the skins natural barrier.
This is a fragrance free cream and suitable for sensitive skin, it’s also non-comedogenic. If you suffer from dry, rough and bumpy skin I highly recommend this as it’s been a life saver for me!

Intense nourishment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with a CeraVe face cream, but I knew the brands, especialy is broad popularity. CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream is a hydrating and treating skincare product for skin with imperfections and dryiness. My skin is combo but I've been experiencing a bad rush lately with irritation, pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. I wasn't able to combine products without overdrying my skin in these conditions. I used this sample - very generous in size - together with the SA Smoothing Cleanser; these two products helped me to clean and clear the skin, which now shows just some whiteheads along the jawline. This cream has a very thick texture... squeezed from the sachet, it reminds me of butter and, indeed, it feels like solid oil/butter. It's a bit heard to spread, so it needs to be worked and warmed with my fingertips. Besides this note, it leaves my skin smoother less irritated and supple.

Can you use this as a facial moisturizer, Day and Night . TIS
I'm not sure it would be suitable as a day cream for the face as it's quite a rich cream. My arms, legs, etc can sometimes feel slightly tacky hours after application. Could be ok as a night cream, I've just not tried.

is this a moisturizer or do you have to use as well as a moisturiser for your face ??
I use this on my face at night after I’ve applied my other lotions and potions. I haven’t tried daytime as have oily skin and wear make up so wouldn’t risk it sliding off. But this cream is amazing

is this product suitable for vegans/vegetarians?
It is hard to answer fully.
It has a product in called: Urea.
Urea is a byproduct that all *living* animals and humans make. (Madonna was known to ummm pass her own Urea and rub her feet in it).
Now it is possible that the Urea in this product is made in a lab and is synthetic.
Or it could be Urea from pigs.
Which traceability it is hard to pinpoint the source.
