New formula
I loved the old formula, I have tried many SPFs and the old one was a dream! It was so light and airy, a dream to apply, I didn't feel it on the face at all after application.
I really hoped that it's just the packaging that has changed but no... the consistency is different, it's heavier on the face, you can definitely feel it after application. The ingredients must be different as well because this formula stings around the eye area and the old formula never did... overall very disappointed with the new formulation and the fact that I need to start looking for a new SPF. Such a shame, I loved loved loved the old formula! Bring it back!

I am surprised
I was using the old Clarins SPF for about five years (it was my favourite skincare product), so when I saw that they reformulated it I was so upset as their reformulation of other products have been pretty bad. However, I am extremely shocked that this works as well as it does- I might even go as far as saying that I prefer this one to the old formula.
It is extremely smooth and leaves a healthy sheen on the skin without looking greasy/sweaty, and it does not give me a white case at all- the old formula did do that but I looked past it.
Overall really great, good job with this one Clarins but please stop reformulating staple products!

Devastated
Due to an allergic reaction I am unable to use chemical sunscreens. I have used the old formula for years. I can remember how happy I was to find a product that worked and didn’t cause rashes, spots or burning on my face. So for me the new version is a huge disappointment. I will now have to look for my face spf elsewhere .
Clarins you are not the only company to recently produce new and ‘improved’ formulas of brilliant products that many customers find they can no longer use. However I hope you are a company that actually listens to the customer and brings back the products we love.

Disappointed that these products aren’t available
I have been buying Clarins day cream sensitive skin and UV plus day screen multi protection for many years and now find they aren’t available. I previously had Acne roseaca but with using the above mentioned products I had eliminated the problem. Looking at the customer comments on your replacement for the day cream it is going to be too thick for my skin. Please bring back your gentle day cream and the previous version of the UV protection. I had recently recommended your old uv product to a friend .

Bring back the old formula
I've been a loyal fan of this product for many years. I loved that it was an SPF 50 specifically for my face rather than using a standard sun tan type product which would always be too greasy - it became my daily go to product, never without and one I always recommended to friends & family. However the new formulation is just awful, its a lot heavier, so doesn't blend in as well and the concentration of ingredients in the product is no longer suitable for my skin either and I get sensitivity/stinging when I use it. I'm not sure what has been added in, that wasn't in the previous version of this product but it's now an absolute no-go for me and I will not be purchasing this product again. Really disappointing - another product Clarins have 'tinkered with' when they didn't need to.

Please bring back Day-Screen.
I've been using the Day Screen Multi-Protection since I was diagnosed with skin cancer six years ago and was advised to use SPF50 all year round. The reason it was so wonderful and why I recommend it to others is because it could be added to any moisturiser which meant I didn't feel restricted for choice. Also it didn't feel like suncream, those thick oily lotions, which after the first few months of diagnoses felt like a punishment.
Time to start trying new products I guess.

Please bring back the old formula!
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I am sad to say that it is nothing like the wonderful old SPF50 formula. I have combination, pale skin and the previous one was easy to spread, lightweight, effective and left my skin with a healthy dewy glow. This new product is thick and goes on like regular suncream, my skin feels clogged, dull and matt and has started breaking out in a way it didn't while I was using the old cream. It actually makes my face sting on application and my eyes water throughout the day. It did not need the addition of a moisturiser as this was an effective product for layering without and already felt like it was moisturising. Very disappointed that my favourite SPF that took so long to find has been ruined and I will now be hunting elsewhere for something similar. Please PLEASE bring back the old formula I am devastated!

Another Classic Clarin's product ruined!
I have been using Clarins for 10+ years and discovered the UV Plus factor 50 SPF only a few years back - it was a MIRACLE product. Not only did it offer the 50 SPF protection I need all year round (very fair hair / pale skin) but it was the FIRST product I found that wasn't sticky, greasy and actually made my skin look great - almost like a primer! I have read other reviews similar that swear by it as a make-up base.
I have just ordered the new larger size as this wasn't previously available and is of course better value. I tried product for the fist time yesterday and OH NO its a new formula. It is no longer a light, thin, almost watery product (in the best way possible!) but now more like a traditional sun screen product - thicker and stickier to apply. I found I had to use more product that usual as it didn't 'spread' across the skin as freely. I am SO disappointed - I also recently bought the Alpine Milk Cleanser and that too has changed recipe. I am praying I can find some old stock of both on eBay and will be bulk buying as this new formula has let me down. Please bring back the old recipe Clarins!!!
