Lovely and kind
I've come back to Clinique after a few years away and I'm glad I did, especially after the revelation that my skin (which for years I thought was still greasy and teenage despite my advancing years) is actually dry and breaks out because the products I was using were way too harsh. Duh! This clarifying lotion is lovely. It leaves my skin feeling fresh but not stripped like my old products and the difference is noticeable even after just a couple of days. I'm still working out the best regime for my skin but this is already a firm favourite :)

brightening and gentle
I've returned to Clinique after 10 years. I was shifting between different brands including organic and "natural", trying to find something that made my skin feel and look good. Realising that my sensitive skin is reacting to fragrance ingredients and all of these brands were making my skin dryer, blotchy, itchy and breaking out with spots. I decided to return to Clinique. I noticed immediate improvements to my sensitive, dehydrated, combination skin. i purchased extra mild liquid soap with clarifying lotion 1. No reactions, my skin is softer and clearer after 2 weeks. If you have previously used Clinique 3 step and found it drying, try this combination. I think the balance is better for my skin (effectively cleanses without irritation) . Very happy and have now purchased other Clinique skin care products.

Perfect for me!!
I'm a lover of Clinique in general, their products just work really well for my skin, this is definitely one of my favourites though. My skin is probably more of a type 2 I.e. normal to dry combination, however it drys out extremely badly if I use the wrong products, I tryed the number 2 lotion and although it was also a great product it was a little harsh on my sensitive skin and made me quite dry, the number one is perfect!! My face feels extremely clean but comfortable and glowing!! I would recommend this product to anyone! I made the silly mistake of moving away from my Clinique products for a while and my skin has definitely not thanked me for it!! I'm now going back to what I know works for me!!! My skin never looks better then when I use my three step system!!

Great Exfoliator :)
This toner/exfoliant is just great! Been using for around 3/4 weeks and my skin is glowing!! At first it caused a few breakout, but I stuck it out and I'm so glad I did! And it also reduced my redness on my cheeks, as I'm very pale, it gone down sufficiently!! And its very well priced, I've been using the 200ml one for 2ish weeks and not much has gone at all, at only £17.50 I will be REPURCHASING < 3 (Also very gentle)

This is an excellent product and i use it daily, and in fact have been using this product for the last 10 years. It works excellently with facial soap and moisturising gel.

Extremely Happy!
I wasn't too sure whether to take the step and buy this as part of the 3 step routine as it was the 1st time i wAs going to buy a clinique product My skin was getting quite dry as the weather was getting warmer and my normal moisturizer just wasn't doing the job I was amazed what a difference even the first time using the lotion made as it made my skin feel instantly smoother and lighter! I use the intense moisturizer after the very mild facial soap and cleanser and my i have had no problems with dry skin since! It works wonders cleaning my skin and getting rid of dead and dirty skin as it becomes clearly visible on the cotton pad

at last!
This is great, it makes my skin feel fresh and extra clean and means ready for moisturiser and then make up if wanted. No more dry skin or unsightly patches in foundation as toned and gently exfoliated.
