Improvement
I find this to be an improvement to the previous Moisture Surge Intense, which was already a great moisturiser. I find that it locks in moisture for longer and it's a beautiful texture. I find it really calms my skin down. I have dry skin that is often easily sensitised and this really calms it - it's great day or night. It's heavy, but not as heavy as many other intense moisturisers. It gives your skin a bit of shine but if you're wearing makeup it primes it very well and is easily rectified with a mattifying primer or powder. I'd recommend this to people who need that bit more moisture through the winter months or who just have dry skin in general.

Disappointed with the new version, bring back the old one!!!
I've had last winter the old version of the Clinique moisture surge intense and I loved it, I kept using it during the spring as well. I thought that I found the perfect cream for my skin type and needs, but unfortunately when I bought it again in November 2020 I faced a big disappointment and I felt like I just thrown my money in the wind. I was using the old version 2 times a day and it was Perfect!!!, I wasn't in need of something else. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!!!!, at least for people who love it more than anything else, it can be a win-win for everybody, including your company. I am already looking for an alternative but it definitely can not be found through your products.

Bring back the original and best moisture surge intense
I do not understand why Clinique seem to go out of their way to alienate their core market - I've used Clinique skincare since my 20s but over the years I've had to reduce the range of products I use as you keep adding Disodium EDTA to everything - moisture surge was the exception until now! Why change a product that is perfect as it is and has many loyal customers as myself. The new formula is nowhere near as moisturising and my skin hates it! So now I'm on the search for a new one. What a shame after using your products for 25 years!

Amazing texture
I've used this for the first time today so my review is about instant impressions, not long term use. I'm a huge fan of the original moisture surge and this is very similar but with a richer texture. On application you think it's not going to sink in, but it does and it dries to a slightly tacky (but not greasy) protective film. My skin feels really comfortable and looks well hydrated. I'm going to try it with long wear foundation because it feels as if it would make a very stable but dewy base. I've worn it alone tonight but I'll wear it in future over my night retinol serum as a nurturing layer. I would recommend trying this to anyone with mature or dry skin that loves the original but wants a bit more oomph.

Disappointed
I'm really disappointed with how this range has gone. The surge range was for dry skin types. The fortifying moisture surge was the best moisture Iv ever used and it's been discontinued. It was like no other it was light but kept my skin supple and glow all day. The range it's now for all skin types now? How!! How can a moisture be for dry, very dry, combination and oily? It can't!! Different skin types need different things! This does not keep my skin hydrated, an hour at the most! And it actually dries out my skin! This is for oily skin. So disappointed! I don't understand why you stopped the fortifying moisture surge it was an amazing product, my friends used it and also disappointed! Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this range anymore.

Light Feeling With Day-Long Hydration
I've been an avid user of the Moisture Surge for years but sometimes have found it a little light when entering the cold winter months. When I noticed this, instantly purchased and was not disappointed. Finally, a moisturiser that maintains a light feel on on the skin (not heavy or greasy like so many other brands) but also manages to keep those areas prone to dryness hydrated throughout the day. With all the working from home and nipping out for daily walks, my skin remains hydrated and looking fresh. Thank you Clinique!

Moisture Surge doing wonders yet again!
I've used the Moisture Surge Auto-replenishing pink gel for a few years now and when this new Lipid replenishing hydrator got released I thought I would give it a go, and it did not disappoint! It is more creamy than the old one, but still lightweight and absorbs into the skin so well leaving it plump, and hydrated and my skin is soaking it up its so good. Huge fan and my face is thanking me for it!

Really soothing for dry skin
This is the best moisturiser I've found for my dry skin. This doesn't sit on top of the skin, it really sinks into the skin and hydrates. My skin usually feels tight on my face, and with this I don't get that feeling, brings my skin so much relief. I've got sensitive skin that gets quite red when it's irritated. I tend to find when I put this product on it can be a bit cooling on the redness which is a bonus.
