Excellent Foundation
I am 46 years old and the usual thing happened my favourite foundation got discontinued..... so after many wasted £s I have been looking for some time for a foundation that does the following things:gives a matte finish for oily spot-prone skin, light-weight/natural cover, doesn't settle in pores and lines and goes on easily and stays put for a good few hours. THIS IS FANTASTIC! Satisfies all my needs. I had it colour matched in an actual store so found the perfect colour too. Allows me to buy my perfect foundation online. The Clinique consultant was lovely as I'm quite shy, she made me feel completely at ease. Top marks all round.

Great Foundation for Combination - Oily skin.
Absolutely love this foundation! because I have an oily complexion I can't use just any foundation and if your like me you will know that any product with oils in will break your skin out in terrible spots this was a problem for me until I searched engined oil free make up and came across this I thought it was pricey at first but then I thought stuff it! I'll give it a go and ever since I've never looked back and BETTER!! Works wonders on my skin feels light as well and brushes/sweeps on lovely. ionly apply a small amount as the bottle is a little small but it does stretch to a few months before running out :)! It doesn't leave me feeling greasy or cakey and stays on all day for me.

Very disappointed!
I have extremely oily skin and have tried practically everything to the point of exasperation so gave Clinique Stay Matte foundation a try. The coverage is extremely light (much lighter than I expected) so for someone with redness and acne problems like myself it is no good at disguising these issues. However, the minimal coverage would have been forgiven if the foundation had kept to its promise of staying "matte all day" but after an hour it was sliding off my face! I even teamed it with the Stay Matte powder and it still didn't stay on my face. Even more disappointing I emailed Customer Care and received no reply with regards to being unsatisfied with my order.

PLEASE PLEASE MAKE PALER SHADES!!!
I went into clinique for a tester of foundation and was pointed in the direction of the stay matt foundation. It stays on perfectly, feels wonderful on the skin, and feels weightless like you have nothing on,it does not slip or slide. Sounds amazing right? There's one MAJOR issue- I left the store looking like an Oompah loompa, The match which was "perfect for me" was soo not right. If like me you are on the very pale side there's no way you can have it. Although boasting the 75 different shades and you WILL find your match, I with a heavy heart have not. The shades simply do not go light enough! I am genuinely gutted about this and really hope clinique take note and make lighter shades-PLEASE!

Perfect
I have been looking for a foundation that I like for ages and ages now. After trying other brands and left feeling disappointed I went to see the consultant at Clinique who as well as finding a whole new skincare regime for me, used this foundation. I took a sample pot and bought it after a couple of days use. It is easy to blend, and I cannot believe how long it lasts. After as much as 14 hours wear it still looks as fresh as it did when I first applied it, without any touch-ups at all throughout the day. I get a lot of blemishes and use this foundation with the 3-step anti-blemish skincare and my skin has never felt so good before.

Life saver.
I have tired so many different foundations and just never been happy with any, they either made me look cakey, oily, didn't last etc.... This foundation is so light, goes on lovely, if extra coverage is needed then you can add another layer without it going cakey. It lasts all day, doesn't make you shinny and my skin isn't as oily during the day. With other foundations I felt like my makeup used to slide off during the day but this doesn't do that. Best thing I have found is the amount of complements you get haha :-) Thank you Clinique.

Amazing Photo Finish Face
I reluctantly purchased this foundation last week on the recommendation of my local clinique consultant as I suffer from Rosacea. I only wish I had started using it sooner as it is fantastic, having used many other types of clinique foundation which I must add have all been lovely and suited my skin, this beats them all! The texture is so light but gives a more than perfect silky matte finish that truly lasts ALL day work it dram diff moisturising GEL..you will not regret it.

great colour match for darker skin tones
Having tested most high end brands, I tested a couple of shades in the stay matte foundation and was pleasantly surprised that they had a perfect match for my skin tone, (#26 Amber). As a women of colour it can be quite challenging to find your perfect foundation which is a perfect colour match along with suitability for your skin type too. Only con is that coverage is quite sheer, but on the plus side this foundation really combats shine and works well with my primer. I will be using Clinique from now on......

I use L’Oréal Paris infallible 24hr fresh wear (15 porcelain) & have just started using Clinique super city block underneath. Want something longer lasting that doesn’t settle into pores and want to know if this is a good option/which shade would be best?
I would suggest to pop into a Clinique Counter and ask to book for a shade matching trial a make up session, it is free and help to get the best outcome. The shades differ from product to product.
However, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, you might want to try and connect with Clinique online and request sampling, explaining that you want to try shades to identify which suit you best. Hope that help. Good luck.
