I haven't found it as easy to remove mascara as other reviewers have stated but I think part of that is that I had read SUCH good reviews about this product that I expected it to take all my makeup off with no trouble... I do need to use a bit of massaging around my eyes. However the rest of my makeup is removed so easily and it is so simple to use! Definitely worth the money, I've used it every day for about 2 weeks now and I have used barely anything. I bought it as I was waking up with puffy eyes from not removing my mascara well enough but now I have no issues! I use the Clinique 3 Step program for Blemished skin and it has helped with my spots!

Ok so I've always used oils for my double cleanse, as I really didn't like a very expensive cleansing balm from another popular brand. However I always find that the oils I use never really take my eye makeup off well enough, and I have used many different ones. My eyes are extremely sensitive and most eye makeup removers and micellar waters (in fact all of the ones I tried) always irritate them so it have always been a struggle! Until now!! So glad I found this balm. It takes all the makeup off brilliantly, doesn't irritate my eyes, it's incredibly silky in texture, and it melts really well, can't fault this product at all!! I just need a massive supersize tub now!

Best product in my cupboard!
This is my second purchase of this! My holy grail cleansing balm! I have really oily skin and when I first tried this, I was worried that putting oil on my skin would worsen it but quite the opposite actually. This leaves my skin feeling so soft and so smooth after I have used it. I use this everyday and one pot lasted me for 7 months! Great value for money - a little bit goes a long way! This balm just melts my make-up away. If you're struggling to get that waterproof mascara off without dragging your eyelids round the back of your head - this product is for you. I cannot recommend it enough.

A little powerhouse
There are so many beauty balms on the market and this one is certainly not the cheapest. The small pot, I have to be honest, initially put me off. This product is , however, super concentrated so you only need a small amount - less is more!! I massage into my dry hands until melted then apply to my face and neck. The beauty of this product is I can use it on my eyes ( which are super sensitive) with no issues. I simply add water to make it into a creamy gel then remove with a muslin cloth rinsed in tepid water. It removes my make up with ease, leaves my skin crystal clear, non dry, glowing and all ready for three step. Don't be fooled by the size of the pot - it will last for ages as you only need to use it in the evening.

I'm not entirely sure if they 'revamped' this for 2016, but when I went to the Clinique counter I was given a sample of the take the day off cleansing balm. At first I was sceptical but then as soon as I got home, I began to get irritated by some liquid lipsticks I had swatched in a store. I tried to use my gel make up remover to dissolve the liquid lipsticks but it wouldn't work. I was in such a hurry to get somewhere I pulled the balm from out of my bag ran to the bathroom, applied a tiny amount, and it came off in an instant. Also it left my skin feeling super smooth! I have tried it since and have been super impressed, would recommend!

I was sceptical about this balm to begin with, as I couldn't work out how something that turned into a fluid oil could be rinsed off and not greasy, but it's exactly as described! I've tested this on light and heavy make-up, and waterproof mascara, and it deals with removing it all quickly and easily. I like to massage it over my face and neck, then my eyes, then get in the shower and just rinse it off. Job done! And no 'panda eyes' the next morning! And best of all, no rubbing and pulling around the eyes. I always follow with my 3 step afterwards. Oh, and it doesn't have any smell to it whatsoever, and doesn't sting or irritate my eyes or skin. I'll definitely buy again when my tub runs out (which will probably be ages yet as you only need a little to use each time).

I am very much a 'wash and go' kind of girl when it comes to my beauty regime - I get seduced by complicated products that promise the world, but I always end up losing interest and feeling like it's all too much hassle. This product is different, though. I apply just a small amount and jump in the shower to rinse. It dissolves all my make-up, even my waterproof mascara, quickly and without fuss. There's no faffing about afterwards removing the last remnants of eyeliner from under my eyes, which used to leave my skin puffy and red. I was worried it would be greasy, but it rinses off cleanly and quickly, leaving my skin feeling clean and really soft. I always used to use a basic facewash, but am completely sold on this, and even though it's more expensive, I can't imagine going back to my old products.

This is my first time trying out this product which was recomended to me and I absolutely love it, would definitely reccomend if you are thinking of purchasing. At first I was kind of sceptical about using a product that is solely oil based and has that kind of shiny greasy texture to it when you go to remove your make up but because it's something different to what I've used in the past it's fun to work this greasy product all over your face and to watch it break down all of your make up! I don't have dry skin, mine is very much combination with some dry or oily patches but this doesn't seem to affect this and doesn't dry out my face after using it.
