New Forumla
I used to love this serum, I really felt liked I had perfected my skincare routine and use this alongside the Pro Collagen Marine Cream. For the past 3 weeks I've noticed that my skin is no longer how it used to be and couldn't work out why. This morning I had a realisation that the formula has recently changed on this serum and came to read other reviews to find others have said the same - this serum is now causing my make up and skincare to bobble and rolls off the skin which has never happened before. I'm wondering if its the serum reacting with the Pro Collagen Marine Cream. I can't work it out but either way I will now be looking for a new Serum which is such a shame.

Poor change of formulation
I have been an avid user of this serum for years, my holy grail. Having had difficulty sourcing it I suddenly found it available again. EVERY site I've looked on I was shocked to see similar review on the new formulation which Elemis have NOT made us aware about. I just want to say thank you to all the reviewers who have explained what the new serum is like and saved me the hassle myself. There are that many reviews saying the same things that I am not even going to try it myself. Been here too many times before when companies change the perfect product to something useless. Why? Do proper consumer tests first! The original product was the best, I'm so sad and disappointed its been changed

Poor product
After using this product for years I’m very very disappointed to find the ‘new formula’ is nothing like the old serum elixir I knew and loved.
As a result I’ve created a Facebook page, hoping to persuade Elemis to reintroduce the original serum after all the poor reviews.
I cannot put a link, but type in ‘Elemis lovers unite…’ and you should find it on Facebook.
I hope if enough of us complain there are more likely to listen.
After being a loyal customer and lover of this product for years, after two months of non use my skin is dry full and droopy.

Unsatisfactory New Formula
I have been buying this for many years with superb results. I have noticed the difference whenever I stopped using it and quickly returned for its restorative properties. It used to need to be shaken so that it blended. It then spread over the skin in a thin veil which stayed on the surface for a few moments. It had a lovely texture and the effect was immediate. Now the formula has been changed to a white cream which does not spread well and has very little effect. It sinks into the skin too quickly and much more is needed for even coverage. It makes no obvious difference to my skin. This is not at all a good buy now and I will not be purchasing it again. I would be delighted if you would return to the old formula. It looks as if many others would be too.

New formula- new product
This serum has always been my favourite Elemis product- used every and morning, I received two for Christmas from family and they are unusable. Everything about this ( new and improved !) serum is different: consistency, texture, smell, ingredients and most importantly the way it makes my skin feel- no longer instantly hydrated and glowing. It also bobbles under my Elemis marine moisturiser and there are bits over my skin. This serum was such an amazing product- loved by everyone I know who used it ( hence the number of fantastic reviews for the old serum). Shall be returning the new serums to Elemis- they should have been marketed as completely new serums which is what they are. So disappointed at having to find a new serum that delivered everything the old one did.

Warning .......new formula !!
Wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. There is no mention on the web site, that this is a "new formula " !! Just a small sticker on the box. I loved the original, it was just like were silk. The smell was amazing. My make up looked wonderful. New one has dried my skin out, it peels off when you rub your skin. Horrible smell......
This is very expensive to buy, but will only buy again if you get rid of the "new formula"
Do NOT buy this !!!!!!!!

The new formula is AWFUL!!
I was a loyal user of the original Elemis Super Serum for over 10 years. It was by far the best serum on the market and I recommended it to everyone. It had a lovely golden consistency and left my age 45+ skin plump and glowing. There was nothing more reviving after a stressful day than using this serum… Then, yesterday, I opened my new bottle of this product. What a disappointment! I realised something was wrong when the formula coming out of the bottle was white. It spread like a diluted toothpaste and did not seem to moisturise at all. You will not get a glow with this product. It is honestly awful and I feel Elemis did not highlight that the formula had totally changed. Elemis, please listen to your loyal customers and bring the old version back.

New formula is a disappointment
I have used this product regularly for years but won’t be repurchasing unless Elemis return to the original formula. It used to give a healthy glow to my skin but the new formula feels like a standard moisturiser and does nothing. Elemis, please listen to your customers & return to the original formula.
