Well, that was a let down.
I only buy cruelty free make up so you can imagine my excitement when e.l.f was to be sold in superdrug stores. I bought this palette and when I went to open it discovered someone else had tampered with it (yes, not directly a product issue, but testers really help). Then I realised that the green greys at the dark end were in fact purples - neither the online photo or the photo on the box represent the palette accurately. Then to top it off, the products are so unpigmented that it appears to be a waste of time using them?

Lovely subtle colours
I like this palette for a smoky daytime look with a touch of shimmer. I find that the colours are subtle and you can layer them easily. There is a good range and I am finding that I am getting lots of use from it. Bit of fall out but not too bad.

Amazing value for money
I bought this some months back. I like to use products for a little while before posting a review, because sometimes instant reviews can be a knee jerk reaction and items need to be given sufficient applications to give it fair and objective feedback.
I used to spend silly amounts of money on expensive high end brand quads. Until I found the pigmentation of some other brands, some of which are so affordable and easy to find in drugstores! I must admit elf is a new brand for me to test, and so far I've been very impressed with most of the products I've purchased, with very few exceptions.
Even the skin care is affordable and the ingredients are not that bad. I am a convert.
So back to this palette. I was not expecting much, but I find that I reach out for this palette the most. Applying eyeshadow is not my forte, and this is very blendable, the pigment is insane for the price, and there is not much fallout.
It is not as long lasting as other shadows, but if you use a good eye primer, it does help.I mean, for that price, you can forgive this..

Love it
Bought this a couple of months ago and I love it! I haven't had any of the problems other people seem to be saying - I find it really pigmented, blends well, and the colours in the photo are a true representation. Will be buying more of Elf's eyeshadows!

Great selection of neutral colour ..
Great palate to take you from day to evening. Lovely neutral colours with lovely shimmer and a few darker shades to shape. The only challenge I found was opening the palate - bit fiddly. Otherwise, lovely colours, texture, lasts well and great value for money.
