Obsessed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells amazing, lasts way longer than a bottle of shampoo and actually makes my hair feel clean for more than one day! I have really fine, oily hair and this is the best shampoo I've found to keep it feeling fresh. I've found the best way to store it is on a vented soap dish without a lid so that it dries out in between uses and doesn't become mushy. I've been using this one for a while now so I've decided to order the Pinkalicious version and see how that compares. Since I started using Ethique I haven't felt the need to use any other shampoo brands. Absolutely obsessed.

Fresh and well formulated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bar was very fresh, but not overwhelming so I could get away with using it even at night without waking myself up too much just before bed.
This is a bar I'm definitely considering for the really hot summer months when I go to Australia as the humidity really makes my hair get more greasy.
This bar is not appropriate for winter weather in the UK for dry hair, I know it is not formulated for dry hair, however, I have been so surprised how I love a bar formulated for curly hair when mine is straight so I always try them out, and I'm glad I did.

Better than I thought!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really oily hair, so much so if I wash it in the morning it can already be looking oily by evening. Sometimes, even though I double wash, it still looks oily once dried. I live off dry hair shampoo (not that I can find a good one). I used this and my hair was clean and even looked OK day 2,3 with dry shampoo. It wasn't amazing or life changing but OK. Or so I thought.... Once it was gone I tried a different Ethique shampoo and a few weeks later I can really see how good it is. Now my hair in very oily again, still looks oily when washed. So I've have come to realise that the St Clements bar is actually really, really good.

Love it
I had tried the mini pink before and loved it. I went for this as my hair gets greasy quickly. I love the smell. I have tried shampoo bars from well known high street stores and local ethical/eco shops but none have worked as well as this. I love it.

Catch 22
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this to change from Holland and Barrett, after the first use my hair and scalp were lovely my scalp was clear, hair was beautifully clean and light. Then, after the second use after letting my hair dry naturally I started to notice huge flakes of dry skin from the centre of my scalp, not like normal dandruff small flakes, just huge dry flakes of skin like when your skin peels. This suggests to me this shampoo is just stripping my scalp of any oil production. I really wanted to like this as it left my hair itself feeling gorgeous very disappointed. I usually use ethique products but this one will not be on the list again such a waste.

Surprising results

I tend to have oily roots and tangled length, when using quality bottled products.
Seeking a plastic free option , I discovered this brand.
I purchased trail products for face, body and hair , which is a fantastic option to see what suits me.
This shampoo bar is incredible, less is definitely more when using, it lathers up well and leaves my hair feeling properly cleaned.
I have managed to reduce from daily to bi daily washing and hope this may in time adjust to three days, as my hair is much less oily at the roots.
Long lasting, quality product.
Any chance of a dry shampoo option to help extend time between full washes ?

Great Shampoo for oily hair!
I have been using this shampoo for the last 3 months and I have started to notice how less often my hair is getting greasy! Normally I would have to wash my hair every other day, whereas now I only wash it twice a week. It's taken a while but I'm glad I've found something which works for my hair.
I still have enough product to last me for another 2 months where I've struggled to maintain shampoo bars in the past. I find that leaving the bar in the tin and scrapping off the amount you need once its more gooey, makes it last a lost longer!

I'm In Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried SO many solid shampoo bars over the years in a bid to reduce plastic, but sadly they all left my hair feeling gunky and coated- apparently because I live in an area with very hard water. Then I try the Oily Skin and Hair pack by Ethique and everything changed! As soon as the sample of St Clements ran out (which took a while even with my long hair) I ordered the full sized version and haven't looked back- no gunk, no coating, just super soft, clean hair :D
