So luxurious
I ordered this perfume as a birthday treat for myself, I love deep musky scents so this was such a treat. It just makes me think of the middle east when I spray it because of the sandalwood and other lovely notes. The scent lasts long on the skin and clothes. It does seem quite expensive but you are getting 125ml which is a big bottle that would last ages.This is my new favourite fragrance and would absolutely repurchase it again.

A top scent for a great offer price.
I was going to buy this perfume next year, maybe in the sale's but I saw it with 25% off and just had to buy it straight away.
I think it's a fantastic scent and one that fits both genders if you are brave enough to wear it as a man! I have no trouble in wearing something that has been marketed towards women if I think it smells right and this certainly does. I think alot of perfumes are unisex these day's and I also wear others such as Guerlain Jicky amongst others. Would I buy this again? Yes I would, without a shadow of doubt. This will I'm sure become one of my favourite Perfume's.

Not what I was expecting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard great things about oud fragrances and so when I received this as a gift I was quite excited. A friend had told me it was unisex which I guess should have made me raise an eyebrow but it didn’t.
First the packaging...the box is a bit basic however the bottle itself is really nice and if you are someone who has your fragrances on display you will not mind having this as centre price
The scent
This is not soy something I would say is unisex at all and would say it is 110% for a man. It is very woody and a bit too strong for me
That being said one spray will last for hours

Elegant and mysterious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first moment that I touched this fragrance gave me the sensation of a luxury fragrance. The black and gold colour of the package made me so curious about the scent. When I used the first time it looked a strong scent but after I can tell that I felt in love with. The notes of roses and jasmine make the Santal Royal perfume so sophisticated, evoking a sense of luxury and warmth. Its longevity is impressive, lingering subtly throughout the day.
While the price may be considered steep, the sheer quality and the olfactory experience make Santal Royal a worthy addition to my fragrance collection.

Beautiful bottle but a heady scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Guerlain bottle of this style. It's a beautiful bottle in black with good text.
The fragrance itself is very strong compared to the perfumes I usually buy.
I found it overpowering for day time use, and feel I would wear it more for evening time.
I think it does remind me of scent in places like dubai and this perfume could be more popular with people who like ouds. I think that there are similar scents at Jo malones.
I have been asked by some one online if I recommend it to her... My answer is you really need to find the tester bottle in store to try it as this one isn't really my style.

Heady sandalwood softened by deep rose sensuality.
I purchased this perfume after falling in love with Mon Guerlain, finding that I loved wearing rose scents, but needing a fragrance strong enough to stand up to winter air. This was a bit of a risk as I blind purchased it, but I am so glad I did. The sandalwood is thick, sultry and lifted by the hint of musk, while the rose and faint whispers of jasmine round it out to almost invite another sniff. The first scent is very heavy on the musk and wood, but post dry-down it becomes more complex with a touch of powdery nature that brings out the floral notes.
I personally think it's a fine unisex perfume, but I don't think I could bring myself to share the bottle to find out!
