Decent everyday fragrance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is nice in my opinion but I know for some it probably looks tacky with the gold. I would say it doesn’t make it look premium. The scent itself I would say is an everyday fragrance, something you could wear at any point of the day no matter what setting you are in. It’s not over powering. It’s not too Musky or similar which I would associate with a night fragrance and it’s not too fruity which would be more of a light day fragrance. its for a bean/earthy Caramel hint to it along with a woody side. It’s a nice fragrance that lasts a good period of the day. Another plus is refillable bottle.

Very potent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favourite aftershave by a long shot. Its very potent and long lasting, which in some ways is good but for this it takes far too long to mellow and stays very overpowering. Wouldn't get it again and would rather stick to more subtle fragrances over this very powerful scent. Had it on for close to 24 hours and truthfully I've changed my t-shirt so I can't smell the over powering fragrance. Unfortunately it's still on my skin so will need a shower to get rid of the smell. It's not for me but it may suit someone who prefers a very long lasting fragrance. Not one I'd get again.

New favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit I mainly wanted to try this one because of the name (it sounds like the sort of thing I should wear), and it did not disappoint. It's a deep, very masculine scent. I received a sample size one, was worried it might be a bit over the top for work so I wore it for Saturday night drinks at the bar - and the compliments just didn't stop. Had people walk past me, stop, turn round, and come back trying to find who the scent was coming from. A bottle of this in your bathroom is like having a magic self confidence and ego booster that you can spray on whenever you like.

Great scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The eau de toilette is in a very elegant packaging in a high-quality bottle with a crown closure. A woody-oriental and long-lasting fragrance. The powerful and intense essences give the scandal its deep sensuality. It even has a certain freshness. It is just as economical as, due to its intensity, only a few pump squirts are required. This unobtrusive fragrance is definitely very masculine and I would describe it as very elegant. Perfect for the office and at the same time for festive occasions. An intense fragrance experience for strong men.

Nice!... but not new
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it would easily be said that this is nothing new in the seemingly large ocean of sweeter fragrances out at the moment, if thats your bag - then you'll enjoy this offering from JPG which I feel could easily be a unisex scent.. The first blast contains the light citrus and sage, with the dry-down moving towards the sweeter caramel and tonka, with notes of vanilla and faint powdery flora. Great projection and long-lasting you do NOT want to over spray. Nothing new, but a contender nevertheless in the current trend of sweeter scents.

Incredible scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this sample for my aftershave loving partner. He absolutely fell in love with it as soon as he smelt it, as did I! What an incredible scent. Has a deep musky masculine scent with some some sweet overtones which just make this aftershave a winner. Smells Devine and definitely smells expensive. You can smell the time and effort making this scent took. My partner has lots of expensive aftershaves, lots of different types but he said this one is his favourite and luckily his birthday is next week, so he’s requested a full bottle!

Amazing addition bravo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New scents for men even from big production houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier can be very hit and miss. You often find yourself disappointed by a new released range. I'm so happy to say that this is not the case here. I was over joyed to get several comments from friends and family on how nice the scent was and how good I smelled. For me a scent does not only has to smell special it also has to make me feel special to and Scandel pour Homme does this. Thank you Jean Paul Gaultier

Loved this new one from JPG
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this new scent from JPG. I'm no expert in describing aftershaves but I would say that somehow its just the right balance between light and punchy. It has a fruitiness or sweetness maybe even citrus in the lightness that's complimented by a woody earthy deepness that gives it that masculine undertone. I love it, My wife noticed and commented that she liked it the first time I was wearing it. Will definitely be picking some more up or putting it on my birthday list!
