Gave my head a good ole scrubbin’
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I regularly use a dry shampoo for those days where my hair needs a little tending too but I don’t have time to wash it. This often leads to a bit of a build up on my roots.
This product is great for giving your scalp and roots a good ole scrub in’. The lather is great so you can really give it a good massage…… or if you’re lucky you could have someone do it for you :-p
I did find that combining the scrub with a good nourishing conditioner really helped to make my hair/scalp and particularly my roots feel clean, refreshed and also nourished.
Will be keeping this in my bathroom cabinet as a weekly treatment :-)

Must try earthy detox scrub for skeptics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really skeptical to use any shampoo for deep cleaning my scalp from build-up and also from stress due to my HIIT training that clogs my roots. This detox and repair scrub from John Frieda is a boon for my problem and works Extremely well for hard water conditions too. Must use a conditioner after to get the full effect. There is no unnecessary smell induced and the product itself feels so earthy and organic.Extremely happy with the packaging too. So compact and handy. Am excited to try a John Frieda conditioner too to follow this detox. What a great detox product. Definitely earned the trust of a skeptical consumer like me. Way to go John Frieda !!

Delicious Deep Cleanse Detox
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the premium looking packaging and the deep colour of the product. I was a bit dubious when first putting on because of the bits in it. However, once I had massaged in to my head, it instantly felt clean and fresh. Despite my misgivings, the bits all disappeared and it was on blow drying my hair that I really noticed the results. My hair was so shiny and quite bouncy. I have used it twice a week and really feel the difference when going back to my normal shampoo - my hair does not have the same lift and life as it does when I use Detox & Repair Deep Cleansing Scrub. A definite yes from me and I will be buying this product in future.

Loved this product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first moment of opening this cleansing scrub it seemed likely it would be a pleasant experience, and that initial impression lasted. OK, so it takes a little longer than a normal shampoo to rinse out because it's a scrub, but my hair felt cleaner and less dry than normal. Combining with a conditioner just adds to the effect.
I generally don't use many products, but even just shampoo and conditioner do tend to lead to a build-up, so adding a scrub once or twice a week to my regime makes all the difference.
The fragrance - which lasts all day - is amazing.
Added bonus: using the scrub to clean my face at the same time, making it a multi-purpose product!

Lovely clean feeling scalp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a great product for making your hair feel super clean and fresh. It also makes your scalp feel clean and free of any irritation. You don't need much of the product to create a nice thick lather and it washes the hair very well. On the downside, it takes quite a lot to wash out all the bits from the scrub so you use more water in the shower. Also it's best to use a very good conditioner afterwards otherwise the hair can be a bit tangled and stiff. Over all, I like the product but I wouldn't use it regularly.

Refreshing and does exactly what it says
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A product that does exactly what it claims ro. My hair felt cleaner from the very first use. Conditioner is recommended afterwards but I personally didnt see any difference if I used conditioner or didnt. Feels very luxurious with it thick lather and very invigorating with the exfoliating properties. I would definitely recommend this product to cleanse hair of any toxins or build up of products. The product smells lovely and refreshing, I will definitely have this as a regular addition to my hair care regime.

Smells like Perfume & not for Kinky Coily Hair
Since, I always use fresh avocado & green tea on my kinky curly hair, I bought this to try. So disappointed. It smells like a bottle of perfume. The fragrance is so strong & artificial. Also think it made me hair a little dry, so I did a hot oil treatment to combat the dryness. I don’t think this product is for kinky/coily textured hair.
