Lifts brassy tones & cleans hair!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally dark hair which is salon coloured with highlights, I'm really lazy and don't get it done regularly as it's an ombré style. This means the blonde goes brassy and the colour doesn't look as good!
This shampoo worked a treat, the toner element of it lifted the brassiness whilst cleaning my hair well (I'm an avid user of dry shampoo so get product build up!).
I leave it on my hair for around 5 minutes then follow with the conditioner.
The shampoo was brilliant and made my hair look clean, shiny and the colour freshened up even after the first wash!
Unlike some other toner based shampoos, it wasn't too harsh or drying on my hair either.
The picture below shows my hair after 4 uses and not having had my hair professionally coloured in over 10 eeeks.
I'd definitely recommend this shampoo and will continue to add it to my haircare routine.

Does the job!!
Having had a fair few home colouring disasters in the past, I decided to risk it again in the hope of disguising the greys in my lockdown mop, that was mistake number 1 as my hair looked and felt like a toupe, so much for lightest brown!!
Mistake number 2 came in the form of colour remover, and oh yes, orange hair!! Round 3- light ash brown, slightly better, but still a bit orangey.
Onto round number 4, no mistake this time, one use of this lovely shampoo, the orange has pretty much gone, and I'm back to my own colour, I will seriously never complain about mousey brown ever again!!

Saved my hair!
After successfully colouring my hair at home, I decided to try a different shade. Bad idea! My hair went brassy and my skin looked sallow. I looked online for a solution, and am so pleased I found this. I left the shampoo on for the required time of 1 minute and there was a little improvement, then the next day I left it on for 4 minutes - my hair is thick and strong - and it’s amazing. It’s toned down to a lovely natural blonde, and I couldn’t be happier. I also used the conditioner. The smell and the consistency are both pleasant. Life saver!

Tone Correcting Shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the John Frieda Color Renew Tone Correcting Shampoo. It is amazing! It eliminates the brassy tones and takes away the yellow colour leaving a beautiful blonde colour behind, most noticeable results are after 3 washes and I kept the shampoo on for 5 minutes each time. It left my hair more manageable and silly soft. I'll be buying this product and recommend to my friends, the packaging looks expensive and is a nice addition to the bathroom. The shampoo smells amazing and works wonders, I won't need to go to the hairdresser in between colours for a toner as this does the job! I've attached an after picture of my blonde hair that the Colour Renew worked wonders on.

Tone correcting

My hair is due a re colour and it usually has a brassy look by week 5. It isn't as brassy! I've used the product 3 times and find leaving them on. A few minutes works best. I'm happy with the condition of my hair, no tangles when brushed after washing. This is good because my hair is waist length. It smells nice and fresh and doesn't have that chemical smell that you get with some other tone correcting products. A family member with blonde hair hardly used it and loves it. She will be buying it also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just started having my hair highlighted blonde again and found after a few weeks the blonde was dulling so I thought I would try this new shampoo see if it could brighten it. the shampoo smells Devine and is a bright purple colour. On the bottle it states after 3 washes you will notice a difference I must say it took more like 6 for me to notice a difference. Friends started asking me if I had dyed my hair again and how bright and healthy it looked. My hair also smelled beautiful after washing with this stuff. I will definitely be buying this shampoo again can see it lasting a long time too as you only need a small amount of product.

Blonde and brilliant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I received my bzz pack. I already use purple shampoo for my hair, so I really was glad to be chosen.
Firstly the packaging, easy to use tube, clearly labelled and fresh design.
I wanted to wait for a few washes before posting.
I was very impressed from the first wash. The shampoo creates a really thick lather, and rinses out with easy and smells nice too. My hair felt instantly very very clean, I followed by using the conditioner which I will review separately.
After washing, my hair combed out easily and when dry looked great!
I would (and have) recommend this product. And I will certainly buy this for myself in the future.

Tone Correcting Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is amazing. Used 3 times per week with the accompanying Conditioner and it left my hair fabulously clean and silky. After 3 washes my colour had settled and neutralised the brassy orange highlights which was superb. I'm very happy with this product and will definitely continue to use it.
