I have been using L'Oreal Vitamino for many years, but I decided to give this shampoo a try as I've recently changed hairdresser and as they only use Joico products had bought the conditioner. Very impressed with the results on my long coloured hair, which because of its length has got quite tangly, especially underneath. Gives my hair a lovely shine and keeps the tangles at bay. Seems to be as good as L'oreal.

Not for me
I purchased the Joico K-Pak Shampoo to Repair Damage because the reviews were good. Unfortunately for me, as soon as the shampoo hit my hair it went to a mass of knots which felt like straw - not sure why. Thankfully the conditioner did the trick and left my hair feeling much softer and manageable.

Miracle shampoo
I've been using this shampoo once a week for the past 9 months. After a dreadful experience at the hands of a hairdresser I was left with a chemical haircut. This resulted in a lot of my hair snapping off and the remaining hair extremely brittle and dry. This shampoo plus an olaplex 3 treatment each week followed by the joico k pak hydrator and daily appliance of pure argan oil has rescued my hair and I am now back to a healthy point. Can't praise this joico enough.

Hair feels clean
Been having lots of problems with drug store shampoo as that they l leave my roots dry, flat and almost greasy. This shampoo doesn't do that but instead makes your hair feel lightweight and lifted at the roots. I would say that it still does have sodium sulfate in, and for the price I would have expected alternative ingredients.
