The K18 mask has massively improved my hair, it was extremely dry and damaged from bleaching, toning, and heat styling. It did take four consecutive applications to start to see the difference but from then on it was very noticeable. The texture of my hair is much improved it’s more hydrated, smoother, feels silkier, has less split ends and I have finally got the extra few inches in length I wanted. I’m currently in the maintenance phase so apply it every 3-4 washes or a little longer if I feel my hair is in good condition. It is difficult to apply as it has to be used on freshly shampooed hair, it won’t work after conditioning as it cannot penetrate the hair. Emulsifying it really helps and stick to the amount advised for your hair length and thickness, too much doesn’t make it work better it just clumps the hair together. I have seen some negative reviews from people using this on hair in good condition, if your hair doesn’t have a lot of damage it doesn’t need this mask. It’s much stronger than Olaplex and works on repairing the hair from within the strands so it does nothing for healthy hair. It’s an absolute game changer for my hair I’m on my second bottle and will continue to use it as long as my hair needs repairing. For very damaged hair if you follow the instructions exactly you will see results.
