A new skincare staple
After deciding I needed a 'proper' retinol as part of my skin care routine I decided to purchase this product as it also includes the added benefit of vitamin C. Whilst this serum is strong and I experienced the flaking associated with retinol use (counteracted with Kx Active Concentrates and Goats milk moisturiser) I soon got the frequency right. For me, using this product 3 times a week is plenty and the initial flaking has given way what can be described as a new layer of skin that is much brighter, less textured and much more receptive to other products in my regime. The smell reminds me of oranges and has a texture unlike any other products I have, almost like a satin, mousse like feel. This product has changed my skin.

Vitamin C Retinol power serum
I absolutely love this product from the first day I started to use it.
Firstly, the packaging is brilliant, because the pump allows sufficient serum for one use rather than giving you too much in one go. The pump never gets blocked and the size of the container is small which is great.
The serum is very soft, non drying and neither oily or greasy. It has never affected my skin (70yrs old) meaning I have no irritation, flare-ups etc.
A first class serum that I will continue to use as no other products matches this.

Amazing product
I adore this product, it is my holy grail skin care item after spf.
I love the scent, it is a sweet lemon and joyful to use. Since using it my skin has become brighter and more even, I have less blemishes and congestion, and my post inflammatory pigmentation goes much more quickly. I have used this regularly 2 x a week for the past 6 months or so. When I've not used it, eg when on holiday, I have noticed the difference. There is minimal irritation and flaking/dryness.

My skin doesn't look 60 years old anymore
This was my first dip into retinol. I did a lot of homework and decided on Kate Somerville after everything I had read. This is an amazing powerful serum! It has smoothed and reduced wrinkles. Friends and family spontaneously say how good my skin looks and not many 60year olds have such good skin. I tell them it's the serum but some are so amazed they ask if I've had any work done as well!! I don't ever want to be without this product

Younger looking skin!
Have just purchased my second one of these lovely serums. In the morning my my skin looks smoother and wrinkles are diminished. I can’t be without it! I use it at night in conjunction with Kate Somerville Delikate recovery cream. My skin is prone to spots but I find this serum doesn’t break me out. At first, skin may feel a little sensitive but persevere - your skin will soon adapt. Highly recommend!!

This is always credited with being a KS Bestseller and I’m not sure why! It’s a perfectly nice texture but is slightly drying so needs an additional moisturiser. Results are visible but I much prefer to sue the serum with another moisturiser. This gives better results for me and my skin is softer and fresher with the lighter texture.

Really not sure
I did buy a 2nd bottle but i'm not sure i'll buy anymore once it's finished. This is pretty potent stuff as if i use this 2-3 days in a row, my skin starts flaking. Some people say this is good, some say it's broken your skin barrier. So i only use this twice a week at night. Smells lovely and sinks in nicely and is lovely to apply.

It works!
Powerful little bottle of wonder! A lovely serum and really works. I noticed results surprisingly quickly. Retinols usually take a few weeks to show an effect but this is powerful. Highly recommend leaving on your skin for 15-20 minutes and following with Delikate to replenish and nourish the skin. Wake up to amazing skin!
