I've been missing out!
I've been avoiding buying this powder for years since I thought it wouldn't be worth the price. I'd been using the RCMA No Colour powder for years since it was great for the price and quantity.
However I finally caved in in this for some retail therapy and I honestly regret not getting it sooner. I work as a receptionist in healthcare so my mask is on for 9 hours straight. Combined with my fav concealer, my under eyes have stayed smooth by the time I get home. It's not drying at all considering my under eyes are normally always dry despite my combo skin type.
Packaging is lovely and practical for use. Highly recommend, worth every penny!

Not what I expected
I have been using Clinique's translusent powder. However, I would have to reapply mid-day to make sure my face is not shiny in the T-zone. I thought I would give this one a go and, perhaps, will be able to avoid shiny face throughout the day. I am very disappointed, my face is not only shiny, but this powder sets in all the wrinkles and pores and starts looking caky after a few hours. I bought it to see what the fuss was all about and will never be repurchasing.

Great product!
I bought this for my sons wedding to fix my foundation. I don’t normally wear a powder so was a bit unsure about it as I’m in my 50’s! you only need a very small amount and a big brush and it’s great. Put too much on and it settles in all the wrong areas. It’s worked great for me and the day was boiling hot too and it didn’t budge!

Dull
I brought this after reading great things about it, unfortunately that was not the case with me. Put on and dust off was not the situation for me I found it really dullying to my make up and left me with a white complexion and tone to my make up. It’s so very thick clumpy consistency

(almost) perfect setting powder
I bought this a couple months ago and am really happy I did. I have dry skin (have seen lots of people saying it's good for oily skin) but providing I have a hydrating primer on it works great! My ONLY problem is the packaging - seems there's no way to not get powder everywhere and waste product.

Laura Mercier Setting Powder
I have been using this powder for over a month now and it is one of the best powders I've ever used. It is perfect for setting under the eyes and I use it to set my whole face too! I get hardly any creasing (with the use of a setting spray too) and I find that it takes 6 or so hours before any shine comes through on my forehead or chin as I have oily skin. I will say i have used better powders for oily skin that do a better job of keeping shine at bay but this is a good all rounder.

Very nice fine non powder looking finish.
After using Clinique blended loose powder for nearly 20 years, I switched to this after trying a small sample. Does not make your face look like you have powder own. Very nice long lasting non made up look. Only negative would be the packaging, unlike Clinique you cannot remove the top plastic cover with the small holes. This means powder is wasted towards the end. It is only 29 grams I use this 5 days a week and a full tub lasts just shy of a month.

It's good but
I bought this powder a couple of months ago, it's good but I didn't read the ingredient list. I don't tend to use products with parebens in so I won't be buying it again, but if your not bothered by that it's a great product, it's milled very fine and doesn't have a dusty affect so you won't be breathing in the product. It also didn't block my pores so that's a plus too and my extremely oily skin was matt for a lot longer the other products I've tried.

I need a new setting powder for clients and just wanted to know if this powder causes flashback as I'd also be using it for bridal make up.

The main ingredients that cause flash back in make up products are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which are used in cosmetics with SPF.
This product does not contain either of those ingredients which indicates it will not cause flashback.

The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder can be applied after your foundation, this will help to set your makeup and lock it into place making it full proof all day long!
The powder is to be applied with the Laura Mercier velour powder puff, dip your puff into the product then remove excess by tapping the puff on top of your hand. Gently press puff on the skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder into the skin.
A little tip on how to make your lipstick stay put all day, apply a dust of this powder on top and watch how it won't budge.
