Powerful but drying
I used the now discontinued murad spot cream for a year and loved it.
Bought this new one a month ago and, although I can't deny its effectiveness in getting rid of my spots before they come to a head or ones that have already done so, this made my skin peel like nothing I've ever seen before.
Therefore, despite it being a really strong spot cream that will genuinely get rid of spots, it really hurts my skin and makes it peel off in large bits for a couple of days. I even used a cotton bud to use a minimal amount to a localised area but had the same result. Not a good spot treatment if it ruins your skin, no?

Gave more spots
Bought this because it had good reviews and it gave me more spots around the area that I applied it! Since I’ve stopped using it my skin has cleared up and gone back to what it was but this is an awful product

New formula is too harsh.
This Murad spot treatment used to be brilliant, very effective, and not damaging to the surrounding skin. I don't know why Murad changed the formula but it is now too harsh. The cream did reduce the spot but caused the surrounding skin to be extremely dry and flaky for days. My skin looked worse than with the spot. I ended up throwing the spot treatment in the bin, a complete waste of money.

Best spot treatment I ever used
I've never had such good results with an acne clearing treatment. I've only been using this product for a good week and my skin has almost completely cleared up. It does a great job in reducing acne scars and I feel like it also prevents new acne. I have never written a review on any online store, but for this - I had to.

Not a miracle but definitely helps
I read a review of this and decided to try it on the deep spots I sometimes get due to hormonal changes. It did appear to reduce the inflammation and may have speeded up the healing process - hard to tell on that one. It’s clear and doesn’t leave any white residue so top marks for that and you can apply tinted moisturiser or bb creme on top (I rarely use foundation but that would probably be ok as well). Expensive, but i’ll keep using it as it’s the best one I have found so far.

Stripped my skin...
I really wanted this to work, but it's way too harsh - it literally stripped the skin around the spot I was trying to zap, and left it red and angry and really flaky and horrid for days - I would have been better off leaving the spot well alone as the flakiness around it drew even more attention to the area I was trying to fix! Really sad that this doesn't work for me - am going to have to throw away after this first use as I don't want to go through that again!

Amazing
I am using this for some days now and my face is much much better. I started to have some big pimples and they were hurting me, so I was desperate to find a cure or something to help me. after some researches I found this amazing spot treatment that helped me a lot. Is a life saver! It helped me and I am sure it will help you as well :)

Made my skin worse!!!
I used this once and the result was OK. Then used it again and it made me breakout all in that area worse than I ever have. Also made my skin extremely dry. Whether it was just not suitable for my skin or not but I would never use again. Only use in very small doses if you are going to try.
