A great shampoo for a healthy scalp!
A great shampoo for keeping the scalp healthy. I don't think it's made my hair thicker but I love this shampoo for the lack of harsh ingredients. It has salicylic acid which is great for gently cleansing the scalp which keeps the hair root healthy. I don't know what the data is on peptides for the scalp but I can imagine it doesn't hurt to have them included in the product! I've used this shampoo for years now and will continue to do so. I change my shampoo for a couple of washes a week to a more nourishing one which works well on my finer hair.

Pleasing results
I decided to try Nanogen Thickening Treatment Shampoo (and conditioner) because I was concerned about how much hair I was losing in the shower, and by how slowly my hair seemed to grow.
I am on my fourth or fifth bottle of shampoo now and can really see positive results: I can see lots of new growth, particularly around my hairline, and I seem to be losing less hair when washing and brushing my hair. My hair feels really, really soft after washing and conditioning, and stays that way for three or four days. The shampoo lathers up very nicely, and has a clean smell, which I personally quite like.

Great for smoothing and volumising fine, flyaway hair
Everyone's hair is different, but this shampoo (and the matching conditioner) works really well for me: it transforms fine, flyaway hair into to smooth, volumised locks-- would recommend trying it!

Hairdresser said my hair was thicker
I bought this as I have the thickening serum which I love. The last time I went to the hairdresser she said my hair felt much thicker. My hair generally feels in better condition.

Terrible waste of money buy if you want dry hair
I bought this ( Nanogen Thickening Treatment Shampoo for Women 240ml) thinking it would be the bees kneas of hair thickening shampoos. The ingredients looked good and i was keen to try after reading the few good reviews for it. I also bought the conditioner to go with it. Used it for the first time last night and it is awful. It didnt give anymore volumising than a run of the mill product that i could buy for a couple of quid. What it did do is really dry my hair out and stripped all the shine from my hair. I am a base 8 colour with some grey naturally with blonde highlights from tint not bleech. I followed instructions and followed with the conditioner which i left on for 5 minutes. I cant make out what is in it to make it so bad. The smell from shampoo and conditioner smells a bit like an old fashioned perm lotion. I did read other reviews elsewhere after purchase and many of those reviews are not complimetary about this shampoo. Complete waste of money so i am very disapointed. I will not be using this rubbish again. Dont waste your money unless you want dry dull hair. Cant wait to wash my hair in the morning to get it back to something that resembles shiny healthier hair!

Fantastic product, my hair has been falling out to over colouring, I started using this product and I’ll never go back to anything else my hair is thinking up again it feels soft and looks shiny and heathy

Great for thicker hair
On the few occasions I have run out of this and have had to use normal shampoo I have really noticed the difference. Hair definitely looks fuller with regular use. Would recommend.
