Amazing for relaxed hair!
Bought this after seeing an old article where Alesha Dixon's stylist mentioned using this in her regularly and I promise you, this is a game changer for relaxed hair. I apply a very generous amount in sections root to tip before washing once a week and sit under a plastic cap and dryer hood (the type you just attach to your hair dryer) for 15/20 minutes. The change in my hair has been unreal so far.
My hair usually has movement for a day or so post wash and then it becomes brittle and up in a bun it goes. After using this for three weeks my hair is so soft and bouncy for the entire week. Really impressed and glad I purchased!

Super Product for Afro/Carribean Hair
I have 4b/4c hair which I perm every 4 months, and this product is perfectly made for Afro Hair. My hair is mid back length, passed my bra strap, and there is such a negative stereotype with Afro hair that it can not grow long but it can and will as long as it is well taken care of. The product really corrects your hair from first use, it is the perfect balance of moisture and protein, this is the only treatment product i use because it does eveything that is needed for my hair. I use it one a week when i have freshly permed and as i am coming up to my next relaxher, i will use it twice a week overnight. I always use overnight and never for 20 minutes. Ive been using this product for maybe 6 years now. It really is the best hair product ever, this is my desert island hair product for sure.

A great intense conditioner
I use a mixture of different masques and mostly in the Kerastase range, but I really enjoy using this intense conditioner from Philip Kingsley. I have thick curly hair which can become dry if not looked after. I will always use the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme before straightening my hair. I often leave it on for a number of hours. The impact it has on my hair is brilliant, it looks less thirsty, it is shinny, healthy and really easy to manage. I have been using this product for years and would not be without it. It's excellent leave in conditioner and does exactly what it states it does.

Excellent for dull, dry and damaged hair!
This is by far the most effective product I have tried for adding shine, moisture and bounce to my long/dry/wavy/coloured hair. I leave it in for a few hours - as long as possible - and that seems to give the best results. I find ‘sealing it in’ via heat when drying reaps more benefits than leaving my hair to air dry after. It is very rich, so whilst I tend to use a generous amount on application, I do use a volumising shampoo afterwards; otherwise my roots can be a little flat from it. It seems to sort of reset the shape of my hair as well, so it has a more uniform texture, instead of some bits being straight, others curly, others with a wave.

The Business
It’s too early to give an honest review (hence 4 stars) I’ve used only once. But the extreme elasticizer instantly transformed my hair instantly. After washing it out and before shampooing, instantly I noticed the difference.
I’ve been natural, with type 4 hair, for 5 years and my hair shedding has been an issue recently... this reduced my shedding by 80%. I’m not exaggerating! Plus scalp sensitivity has almost gone after one use.Worth paying top dollar for the Kingsley products. Wish I bought sooner!

So far so good
I've been using this product for about a week! My hairdresser recommended it as my hair condition had been pretty poor due to over processing. (I have relaxed, mixed texture Afro Caribbean hair)
So far so good. My hair is more manageable and much better hydrated. Time will tell but this product is off to such a good start that I though it worth the review.
Downside: it is scentless in the extreme version. Hopefully soon we can enjoy some of the seasonal scents of the normal elasticizer in the extreme version?

Recommended for Over-Processed Hair
I have over-processed, porous, frizzy hair that I am nurturing back to health and I recommend this product.
You apply it to damp hair and the key is to really coat your hair with it using your fingertips to massage it into the strands. You can feel that the strands become more “slippery“ as they become silky and absorb the product.
I then put on a shower cap and do my home workout so that the heat helps the penetration.
After washing the product out and conditioning, my hair feels softer and gradually after using this product for a month so far, my hair seems to be more resilient and healthy.

Really helped to repair my sun damaged hair
Chuffed with this product! I have really difficult frizzy hair thats really greying but I dye it plus the menopause is worsing my chronicly bad hair. On top of this, I think I damaged it when we had the late summer sun in September, it really seemed to damage it after a day on a British beach (I should have put some protection on it, as I did on my skin). This Elastizer Extreme as really helped repair it and the general frizziness is much better. I'm pretty happy with it and would definitely repurchase.
