Smells horrible
I don’t know if I got a bad batch but for some reason this Skinfix gel cream moisturiser just did not smell right. Smelled off like moisture got into the product and made it smell stay/ off. It’s very odd - I have never had a product do this before and it was in date and wasn’t opened. Tried on my skin seems fine but the smell really turned me off and had to get rid of it sadly and it is a very pricey product. Very disappointing in this and I don’t usually do bad reviews - this is a first time.

I received this as part of the Sephora community and this is great for the cold transition as my skin needs extra hydration and barrier support. My skin is drier so a barrier supporting moisturiser is key. This is a lightweight gel cream texture which I love, absorbs in nicely. This has barrier-nourishing saccharide isomerate with niacinamide, zinc PCA, and antimicrobial peptides to support skin.

I’ve been using the skin fix restoring barrier cream as part of my routine and I’m very impressed! I have sensitive skin and have to be careful due to flare ups but this has worked so well. I have combination skin with a few more breakouts recently from working out and it has also been a little dry with the change in the weather but using this has cleared my skin!! Definitely will be buying this product going forward and keeping it a part of my beauty regime. It feels nice on the skin and does not aggravate alongside other beauty products. Would definitely recommend to friends and family to try!!

I was gifted this by Sephora to review and I absolutely love it, it’s so light weight and yet deeply hydrating. I have part oily and part dry face and found that it worked amazingly on my skin not greasy at all. The pump part of it is great, it dispenses just the right amount of cream to cover my face.
I've been using the cream morning and night and have found that it's kept my blemishes at bay and it absorbs well into my skin. My foundation also applies nice on top.
I would definitely recommend this cream.

As a professional makeup artist I am always on the look out for a really good moisturiser that suits all skin types and I have finally found one! It sits well on all skin types, soaks beautifully into the skin without residue and makeup lays beautifully on top of it. I personally have very oily skin and find that the oil breaks through most moisturisers very quickly but that is not the case with this moisturiser AT ALL! The gel formula has a really good consistency, no heavy smells and the Niacinamide really helps with the overall skin tone. Skinfix will now be a staple in my pro makeup kit AND my personal kit. 10/10 product!

I love the pump design for dispensing the gel cream because it's more hygienic than being in a tub. Also, the pump dispenses the correct amount of product needed, so there's no wastage. I found this product is lightweight, highly moisturising and my skin looked plump and felt hydrated all day. Perfect for these cold days and a great make-up base.
However, it has such an unpleasant smell which lingers on the skin, making myself really dislike this gel cream. This is a shame because it has such fab ingredients.

I received this product through the Sephora community, in exchange for my honest opinion. To summarise, this product is skin barrier repairing Gel. Although a gel form, it’s unique in that it’s thicker than most standard gels and has an absorbent but thick gel-like texture that is by no means uncomfortable. It sinks into the skin very nicely and creates a protective layer of-sorts whilst being lightweight. What I really liked is that it is non-comedogenic and I found it helped with the visible reduction of my texture. I have found that the ingredients are especially suitable for my combination/textured/ sensitive skin. However, although I had no issues with the product, it is very lightweight and I personally prefer something a little more dense for the dry and cold climate. I, personally, will only be using this product in summer weather or to maintain my skin texture. Still a great investment if you prefer something lightweight and protective.
