WHAT IT IS:

Vitamin C is a hero ingredient for skin brightening and powerful multi-functional antioxidant. It works to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, dullness and fine lines.

WHAT IT DOES:

Formulated with 30% pure L-ascorbic Acid, THE INKEY List Vitamin C serum helps your skin appear brighter and targets signs of ageing. It also helps to protect against free radicals and pollution. Best used in the AM, the rich, creamy texture gives an instant smoothing effect, making it a great base for makeup.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

• 30% pure stable l-ascorbic acid (vitamin c)

Directions

Can be used AM or PM, but we recommend using in the AM to make the most of its antioxidant properties. Apply a pea-sized amount to face and neck after cleansing and Hyaluronic Acid if using. For a thinner consistency, we recommend mixing with Hyaluronic Acid. Follow with moisturizer and suncreen if applied in the AM.

DIMETHICONE, ASCORBIC ACID, POLYSILICONE-11, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but unpleasant texture Bought this as my first vitamin C product as I was interested in trying it out but didn't want to pay too much. The first few times I used it I got a bit dry the next day (to be expected) and it has tingled, but nothing terrible. Although this describes itself as a serum it doesn't have the texture that most people would associate with this word and is a thick silicone formula that feels a bit grainy and is a bit odd to mix with moisturizer. I don't like the feel of silicone on my skin so I wouldn't buy this again but will definitely finish the tube and would recommend it as a way to try out something new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Texture is awesome and no irritation I bought this in your pre-order as saw an article about this brand. The product is amazing - goes on like a primer and I cant believe its such high concentration as it didnt irritate my skin like my other Vitamin C. I have been using a couple of days and wont look back!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong stuff! This vitamin C is 30% I have seen many other bad reviews simply because their skin isn’t used to it. If you’re new to vitamin C probably best to use a lower % otherwise, this serum does just what it says. Simple and effective as always. If there is some tingle when using, mix with HA or moisturiser and it sorts that right out which also helps with spreading the serum. I have highly sensitive skin and haven’t had a problem when buffering. Haven’t given 5 stars simply because it doesn’t give the % or vitamin c type on the packaging, which is common with inkey list and I can’t figure out why that is?? Will be keeping this one in my routine for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mix it with hyaluronic acid for banging results Not so keen the first few times, felt a funny texture (thought it was gone off maybe) and it did burn, and i did at times have a powdery residue....but im a bit slap dash so prob over applying or just not rubbing in properly, plus ive bought it so im not giving up easy so mixed it with hyaluronic acid (-as the instructions recommend!!!!!) and omg best thing ever, my skins looking fresh, feels tighter. Would 100% recommend, I'm 41 and wish I'd known about vit c and hyaluronic acid sooner, I don't do any other routine than this after my shower each morning and ive really noticed a difference in 3 weeks use, that's why I'm writing a review! It's wicked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best vitamin c serum It started to fade my acne scars in the first week I got it, and helped decrease my breakouts too. It’s a very potent serum so it’s probably why it worked so fast. I’m honestly really impressed. Though I do have to say that it did sting in an area where I still had an eczema breakout so definitely don’t use it if you have sensitive skin. But this didn’t worsen my eczema or anything and was fine everywhere else, but i cant say the same thing for everyone. But if your skin can take stronger formulas then this is amazing. If not their other vitamin c serum is very gentle, doesn’t work as fast as this one but it’s very soothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but stained pillow case The product feels a bit silicon-y with a granular texture and you feel a tingle when it's applied. I use it at night, leave to absorb for a few minutes before applying a moisturising night cream, and can see brighter skin in the morning. The only down side is that it leaves marks on my pillow cases

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pilling and unabsorbant I was so excited to try this product, but I've been disappointed. The recommended pea size amount doesn't seem to spread far. As others have shared, the product gathers on my face and pills in little beads and will not absorb into the skin. I waited after applying Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide to make sure both those products had absorbed well and still the Vitamin C wouldn't absorb into my face I had to scrape off the discolored product, not even just with a finger, but either using a cleansing oil or a fingernail. Unless there's some mysterious trick I'm missing I don't feel this product is very user friendly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed I am not using the Vitamin C long enough to say anything about if it brightened my skin, since I did not use it regularly, since the use is really not good: it leaves a smooth out finish (a little like a pore-filling primer), which then seems to dry out my skin and makes my sunscreen pill (Inkey List Mineral SPF). When I used the tip on the boxing against burning skin (mixing the Vit C with Hyaluronic Acid), it helped with the burning, the pilling and the dryed out skin feeling and look. So, I will try to use it up, but I don't think I will buy it again, rather I'd rather repurchase the 15% Vit C+EGF Serum.
