I have long, fine curly hair but lots of it (so looks thick). Really struggle with frizz. Since trying BeCurly haven't bothered trying anything else! Hair is soft and shiny and forms much nicer ringlet curls than with other products and it smells great!. I had concerns about having issues with scalp/hair feeling gross as others have commented, especially as when my hair isn't washed well I have developed dandruff etc before. But have had no issues at all. Haven't needed to use the co-wash or anything. Using the shampoo and conditioner still isn't enough for me to tame frizz, but would really REALLY recommend the Curl Enhancer and also using the promollient gel as this has help me tame flyaways and fight frizz.

I would buy and recomend to a friend
ive used this product for now a year and a half and i would say its a great shampoo it completely removes grease and makes my scalp feel absolutely oil free. only problem i ever experinced was the fact that i wash my hair once every 5-6 days so i do get a bit of dandruff which this shampoo doesnt like to fight too much against (its definitely removes about 80-90%) however i always see a tiny bit pop out when i brush my fly aways downlike i see like 5-6 throught my hair) however this isnt too much of an issue as i now use the scalp solutions treatment in combination with this shampoo and get a clean scalp with 100% no dandruff! i love these products tyyy

Soft curls, but quite heavy
Does what it says, makes my hair soft, my waves lovely. Big downside for me is that it makes my scalp greasy very quickly, I have to wash every 2 days with this instead of every 3. On the 3rd day my hair looks ugly, which didn't use to happen before. Although by common sense as well as by experience I know, that shampoos that really moisturise tend to be heavy. I would say go for it if your scalp is also dry as your curly or wavy hair. I will probably use it occasionally when I really wanna enhance my curls.

It's a shame it has sulfates in it which is bad...
It's a shame it has sulfates in it which is bad for curly hair texture but it is a lovely product

Smells amazing and lasts for ages!
I use this on myself and my 5 year old son whose hair is commented on by everyone - he has lovely blonde curls. My hair has a natural wave and this shampoo keeps it from drying out and gives me a natural "beach hair" look without being messy.

maybe its just not for me pretty new to dandruff it appeared last year thought because of using cheaper -but not the cheapest-shampoos so invested in 4 basic be curly products and hoped it would moisturise my dry scalp so I can have curls from day one it just made flaking worse and also dries your hair out so bad that youd have to give it a day or two even with prep and enhancer to get them curls going definitely wont buy again

Unfortunately not for my hair
I absolutely love the be curly curl enhancer, and finally decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. Very sadly, they don't seem to work well for my hair; far from helping my curls they seem to make my hair slightly flatter and frizzier than my regular drugstore shampoo. I'm three washes in now and none has been as bad as the first, but I won't be using these regularly. It seems that hair type (and perhaps also water) make quite a difference, since others have had such great results.

It's not moisturising enough
I love Aveda products I've used them for about 4 years but I'm finding the shampoo isn't mosturing enough as I'm having to also use dry remedy shampoo every other wash to add the moisture at quite an addition expense.
