Another disappointment from Aveda
I love this product. It's the best moisturiser I've used. I just came here to order another 5ooml bottle, but I see Aveda have stopped selling it in that size. I'm not going buy it at a more expensive price in smaller bottles. I'm getting pretty disappointed with the way Aveda is packaging its products to maximise profits. I used to buy the Chakra fragrances but stopped when they moved from glass bottle to plastic; no doubt to increase their margin. As if the world needs more plastic waste too!

Very hydrating lotion
Generally speaking I find that lotions don't really do the trick for me, they normally don't moisturize enough. This one however is really very good. It is absorbed by the skin quickly and leaves it moisturized all day long. It smells nice and leaves my skin feeling soft. Although it isn't cheap it ends up being good value for money, because it comes in a large bottle and you only need a little every day. Very convenient that it comes with a pump, so you can measure the amount more precisely. I love that it is made of natural ingredients, no nasty chemicals. Really very good! Will be buying more!

Fantastic product
I've just written a review for the gel cleanser which goes with this product and I felt I had to review the hydrating lotion as well. I have been using a free sample I received for a few days and the difference in my skin is so noticeable in such a short time. I have problem combination skin which is very dry in areas and oily with acne in other areas. This moisturizer works on both area's perfectly and its very light, therefore easily absorbed. My skin finally feels more balanced and the acne is clearing up. The colour tone is also improving and is less red than normal. You don't need to use much so I think the product will last well. I'll definitely be buying this when the sample runs out.

I've been using this for 28 years (I'm now 59) and I wouldn't be without it. Every time I try something else I come back to it. My skin is very sensitive (the Tourmaline range didn't work for me-stung my face), combination. It's light but extremely moisturising. A world class product!

Effective moisturiser for mature skins
I first used Aveda about 20 years ago and really liked it. However, I stopped using it for no particular reason chopping and changing between various brands over the years. Now having turned 50 my skin is desperate for moisture, however, I dislike the heavy feeling of mature skin products. Also it is difficult to find moisturisers that don't contain sun protection ingredients which I think make these creams greasy and give them a bit of an unpleasant smell. So I decided to go back to my Aveda moisturiser of 20 years ago but just use more of it, and it has made all the difference. My skin feels fresh, healthy and supple. I also like the simplicity of the product with its no fuss packaging and the fact that you can use it both day and night without needing a separate night cream which saves money and space on my bathroom shelf.

The only moisturiser I will use
I've been using this, and only this, moisturiser for around 20 years now. I have absolutely no intentions of ever using another. I was 20 when I started using it and my skin has changed somewhat now I am older, but the product works as brilliantly then as it does now. I also have very sensitive skin (eczema), but this product does not aggravate it at all. I also look much younger than I am. An Aveda benefit? Who knows, and I'm not stopping using to find out!

Smooth hydrated skin
Amazing moisturiser as it gives you a hydrating and moisterising effect without making skin oily or blocking pores. It feeels like a matt skin but still smooth. Never found anything equal or as good as this. Perfect for both acne and oily prone skin and as well as dry skin

Bring back glass bottle!
I planned to treat myself to some more of this gorgeous lotion. It is truly wonderful. However, having read another customer's review that the container has been switched from the nice glass bottle to a plastic one has put me off. The price is the same and it is pricey! At £34 surely Aveda still makes a profit with the glass bottle? I will not buy this out of protest until the glass bottle is returned. We see this more and more - where less or inferior or smaller product or packaging is introduced for same or higher price! I will purchase something else instead for now.
