Miracle cream for me... billiant
About 2 year ago I had a large facial skin complaint for the second time in 12 months, doc advised try Aveeno skin repair, I did and it went and it never returned, i also used to use an expensive moisturizer which is now replaced by this product. Also again in March this year I went through abdominal surgery with a scar from belly button to bikini line, with too many staples and stitches I care to count, I really think this cream has made a difference because I can hardly see some of the staple marks and I don't think I have fast heeling skin either.
I have told several people about this product and they are experiencing the same results, so its not just me..

This new formula is awful…
I’ve been using Aveeno for years after my GP recommended it to me for severe dry skin and it’s been the only thing that even remotely helps or gives me any kind of relief. Unfortunately, i picked up a bottle recently and noticed a change of packaging, thought nothing of it. I’ve just applied some to a spot of dry skin and immediately my skin is stinging and burning and, quite frankly, hurts worse than it did before application… I’m absolutely devastated as this product was the only thing that helped my skin and was pretty much guaranteed to make it feel better.
Aveeno, I’m begging you, please, please listen to all these poor reviews and change the recipe back.

Long lasting!
For years I've been buying body butters and lotions for my very dry legs but after using them a couple of times I used to give up and end up throwing them out having spent lots of money on them.
I found these creams sticky, thick and with way too much perfume and the majority of them didn't give a long lasting moisture - until I found Aveeno's Skin Relief.
The cream is light, has a gentle clean smell and you only have to use a small amount. When I shower or bath hours later I can still feel the cream on my skin. Amazing product!

Awful changes- Please bring back previous formula!
This new formula of the moisturiser is awful for sensitive skin- DO NOT USE! And that is so disappointing as the previous formulation (used for years) was amazing for dry, sensitive and spot prone skin. Went to but a new bottle only to find this formula instantly causes a stinging sensation that lasts for up to 20 minutes and makes my skin red and sore to the touch. I perceivered but I've had to stop as my skin is so sore and more spot prone. How can this be dermatologically tested?! And so many bad reviews! Makes me think this company that prided itself of truly helping customers with skin problems is cutting corners and using cheap ingredients when the price doesn't seem to be changing. Please bring back the old formula!

Life changer!!!!!!’
I’ve suffered with problematic skin throughtout the duration of my younger and teenage years. After countless trips to the doctors and numerous thick, oily creams as well as hydrocortisone, i lost hope until my Mum did some research. Upon purchasing this cream my skin has gone from flaky and irritated to smooth, even and hydrated!!! It really has been a life changer! For extremely dry/problematic skin i’d definitely recommend this cream over Aveeno’s other cream (which has a green band rather than navy blue), as this one seems to provide the skin with so much more hydration. Thank you for such an amazing product!!!

Used to be perfect, but reformulated
I've been using this for a while now, and it used to be perfect for me. It was very hydrating, didn't feel oily, and actually genuinely helped to heal dry and damaged skin. Since the recent reformulation though, the lotion feels thinner and leaves an oily feeling on your skin even after it's soaked in. It still hydrates, but it feels as though it's not quite as effective given the thinner texture. Unfortunately, my skin also seems to have a slight reaction to the new formula.
Whereas it used to be a real unicorn product, I can no longer recommend this, especially for the price. I can only hope they bring the old formulation back - luckily I managed to find a few tubes of the older packaging, but they won't last forever.

New formula is an irritant for sensitive skin
Please avoid this if you have sensitive skin.
I have been using Aveeno for years for my eczema and it’s always been the only thing that has worked to sooth my skin. I absolutely love the old formula and I’ve recommended it to many a friends and family over the years who have become regular users too.
I had noticed with my most recent bottle that my skin has had a slight burning feeling when applying the lotion, and over a few days it’s been drying out and incredibly irritated to the point I’ve had to stop using it.
I’m not sure what’s changed with the ingredients but it appears from forums online that a lot of people are experiencing the same.
Avoid avoid avoid this product unless they change the formula back to the god send it once was!!!

New formula is awful! Return the previouls one
I used this lotion for 10 years on daily basis. It was perfect for my dry skin. However, you changed the formula now. New formula is much worse than previous one. It is not so smooth, it is not soaking into skin as previous formula. It does not nourish the skin as previous one. So, it was really great product that was used by so many people with dry skin. Now, it is really bad product with new formula implemented. Now need to find another lotion. Please change it back! Why do you break what worked well for many people? Issue your new formula as separate product, but return the previous one
