It used to be good.
Oh no. I used to love this so much. I bought the first one 3 years ago and fell in love. It lengthened and held the curls so well but still decided to look for drugstore dupes. Then recently, I went back to this. I think the formula had changed. It felt very watery and didn't lengthen and hold curls like it used to. So sad.. Felt like you reunite with a long lost lover and realise it is just a fantasy. :(

Amazing!
This is hands down the best mascara I've ever used. The length it adds to the lashes is unreal and it's buildable so volume can be added easily. The brush itself is a really good shape and catches all the lashes and you're good to go with about two coats! Just make sure you go in with a little on the brush otherwise I can see it making the lashes clumpy because it's obviously quite thick. The product is quite pricy and to be honest I only bought it as I had a voucher; otherwise I probably wouldn't have considered it before. However, now that I've tried it I will be repurchasing as I think it is worth the money. Delivery was also great - came four days early so no complaints here!

The best
I love this mascara . I love the way it is so easy to apply and you get the right amount of product on the lashes from the first swipe , none of this going over n over to get a bit coverage- who has the time for that?? you can build on a second coat as well for super long think curled lashes . No drying rolling clumping or flaking which is great espesh for wearers of contact lens / sensitive eyes . THE BEST. And having worn make up for over 35 years I’ve tried most brands but been loyal to benefit for the last 10 years +

My Eyelashes Look Good Until...
I have been buying and using Benefit They're Real Lengthening Mascara since I was about 15 (I am 22 now) and let me tell you, people actually ask me "are those your real lashes?!". The product does what it says, and my eye lashes have always been one of my favourite features because of it... However, I have had an issue with this product every single time I buy it. There always seems to be a malfunction with the actual tube... After about a month or so of use, the part in the tube that reduces the amount of mascara that comes onto the brush/bristles seems to break. I get GOBS of product on the brush and have to wipe it off before I use it, or else my eye lashes all stick together because the product is so thick on it.

Used to be great, now dated
I purchased this mascara several times. However, being now used to more modern formulations, I don't think I will repurchase. While this mascara looks truly great, it is incredibly hard to remove. Modern mascaras do not have this problem. Additionally, it smudges very easily. It aggravates me when I have had to put up with smudging during the day and yet it is a nightmare to remove ar night! I think Benefit needs to update this formula.

Pleasantly surprised!
I was skeptical when trying this out as mascaras don't usually make much difference to me, but it's been a big name product for a long time now so i thought i would splurge and give it a go. I'm very glad i did! My lashes have never looked so nice! The wand is super easy and comfortable to use and the mascara itself glides on without clumping and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. Love this product!

Brown and Black
I own this mascara in brown and black. The brown is for a more natural day when I feel like I don't want such a dramatic look and the black is for a more intense make up look. I think these mascaras are very good and do lengthen your lashes but there is always too much product on the brush meaning i have to wipe the wand before applying it to my lashes otherwise my lashes become clumpy and stick together. Besides that, there is nothing else negative that I can say about this product and I defiantly will be repurchasing both.

Absolutely amazing mascara!
Absolutely amazing mascara. The best I have ever had. It gives super lenght without sticking lashes together and creates the effect of a doll's eyelashes. Stays on all day long, does not crumble, does not smudge (even when you cry) and at the same time it is very easy to wash off during make-up removal. I will definitely buy it again.
