Not for sensitive skin
I had heard so much hype about this foundation and desperately wanted to love it. I have sensitive skin so have to be careful with make up and this gave me an eczema flare up where I didn’t suffer with it before. I tried to keep it on for as long as I could, regrettably, to see if it calmed down. I lasted 4 hours, after which it was blotchy and separating so I don’t think this works for everyone and my skin was burning where I get sensitivity - this took a week to go down. It feels almost like glue in consistency when you put it on your face, not very pleasant but I can see why it stays on so long. Please avoid if you have any sensitivity.

Not for me, oily skin.
I recently bought this with high expectations after watching all the amazing videos and reviews but all I can say is I was very disappointed. I have very oily skin in my T-zone and this foundation didn't help with that. I used 3 different primers and on bare skin and it was still a greasy mess. Even when i first apply it my blackhads are completley visible through the foundation, my nose and under eye creases so much and I have very dehydrated skin right now, which is my fault, but it clung to the dry patches. I even set it with a translucent powder and still as you can tell by my photos, it's not a pretty sight, it only lasts about 2 hours max where my oil is at bay but any longer it turns into a oiy mess. As much as I would recommend it, it just wasnt't for me sadly.

Great stuff!!
I received a free sample of this from an Estee Lauder counter and within two days of trying it I ordered a full bottle! The best foundation I have ever used..... and I've tried LOTS!!
Perfect full coverage that lasts all day.
The only down side to it is that it is very hard work to get out of my make up brushes. Don't find it too much trouble getting off my skin but still trying to find a good way of getting off my brushes more easily.
I have a few fine lines under my eyes and I've noticed these more since using this foundation so probably not a good choice for those who have lots of wrinkles. But other than that I can't recommend it enough!

I used to LOVE this
When I first got this foundation about 5 years ago, it was a game changer for me. It was amazing. I had never had a foundation last so long on my skin. I got matched in store and it was just the right shade for me, too. But as time went on, I found that it wasn't working out for me as much anymore. My skin changed as I got a little older so it started to look much drier, more heavy, was creasing, and just generally didn't look good. I now prefer a lighter coverage and something a bit more hydrating and natural looking, but if you have young, oily skin and want something that will last like cement on your skin, go ahead and pick this up.

Go to foundation
My go to foundation for everyday and special occasions. For everyday - because I do work long shifts and I need my face to still look decent after 12 hours. However for everyday I use damp sponge and to squirts of foundation to give sheer/medium coverage and not too matte finish. For full coverage I use dryer sponge and layer with concealer and other make up. To be honest doesn’t not feel to clogging for everyday and doesn’t cause breakouts which I’m prone to and I’ve been using it for a year almost every day now. I would recommend for everyone to experiment with application tools and techniques as I find it to be quite versatile :)

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I have used this foundation since I was 20. (I’m now the grand old age of 30) I am particularly picky when it comes to makeup, often changing my mascara or blusher but I will never, ever change my foundation from this. It is gold. It gives a real airbrushed look, yet feels so light. It stays in place from 6am when I put it on until 10pm when I take it off. I also have the Double Wear powder which I sometimes use with it just to keep the shine down, they compliment each other very well. It covers blemishes, & pigmentation of which I both have. Honestly just a fantastic foundation. Worth every penny, & I’m a bargain hunter, so it’s not often I’ll say that!

Flawless skin, no creases or lines.
This is an amazing foundation! I struggle to find foundations that won’t crease or be cakey for my face as I get a lot of smile lines in different areas which can cause most foundation to collect just from applying it to my face. This foundation instantly stuck to my face how it should, and didn’t budge from just applying and sat comfortably and feels very light weight like I’m not wearing much. Has barely gone into my crease lines and has made my skin look smooth and blemish free. The only downside is, it didn’t come with a pump feature which I thought it would. I have to tip it out of the bottle which I’m not a fan of but the product is so good it’s worth it.

Stays in place but Not ideal for dry skin
I use shade 1N2 Ecru.
This foundation really does stay in place a lot longer than any foundation I have used and does not oxidise, however I suffer from dry skin and it seems to highlight the problem areas which really isn't ideal. I use primer and hydrating creams but this foundation still seems to cling on to any dry skin, I think this is because it does go matte on the skin.
I recommend this product but not for someone like myself with dry skin, I recommend if you do to get a free sample and give it a try before hand.
