Sinks into skins imperfections
I have oily skin, and I found this foundation looks lovely on certain areas of my face, like my cheeks. But did not sit well on other areas. I do have pores round my nose, and this foundation just sat in them (even though I prepared my skin before use). I also found it separated on my forehead and sunk into lines around my eyes that I didn’t even know I had. But besides that, if you have more of a normal skin type, then it will look beautiful on the skin, as it’s a lovely finish and the coverage is amazing, and like I said before on my cheeks where I have a more normal skin type, it really did look flawless. I just found on myself it enhanced my skins imperfections in my more oily areas.

Love this product!!!
After using Estée Lauder double wear for years I wanted a change so after seeing many influencers using this I thought I would try it. At first I wasn’t so sure as I felt as though it was caking and coming off after a few hours. I tried many different ways of application and then end up watching a video of the best way to use this. As it’s very fast trying it’s best to do sections of your face at a time by applying with your fingers and then using a beauty blender. It’s now stays on all day and as it’s semi matte doesn’t feel heavy or look cakey. I absolutely love this foundation now and will be buying it again!!

Vastly overhyped
Unfortunately I’ve fallen victim to the Charlotte tilbury bandwagon and bought this foundation thinking it would be amazing. It’s a good foundation, good coverage, dries down very quickly. But it does need touching up on combination skin after 3-4 hours, especially if you’ve used only a little bit of it. It does not provide any more of an “airbrushed” look that a decent translucent powder couldn't already do. It’s just ok. L’Oréal or Max Factor full coverage foundations easily compete with this one. The price is for the fancy packaging and the brand name more than the product itself.

Drying even on my oily skin
I am disappointed with this foundation and I really wanted to love it! Charlotte Tilbury have discontinued my shade in their Magic foundation, so this was recommended as an alternative. My skin is oily in the t-zone, so I didn't think I would have any issues with the drying effects others had described …I was wrong! My skin looked chalky and it settled in any fine line it could find. From a distance it looks quite impressive, the coverage is good, but when you get close it looks unnatural and dry …like you're wearing too much make up. It's like a foundation from the 90s! I love a lot of Charlotte Tilbury's make up and wouldn't be without her Retoucher concealer but this foundation is just not it :(

My new go to foundation!
I have been using this foundation for around a month now, and it is such a flawless foundation coverage! I only need one pump to cover the whole of my face and it sits so well with other products I use! does not look cakey - I get compliments on my skin, tempted to buy more Charlotte tilbury makeup, woohoo!

Airbrush finish foundation
This is hailed as a foundation for mature skin, which based on my experience is the exact demographic who should avoid it. If your skin is already in great shape I’ve no doubt that this will provide the flawless finish desired. If however you are like me, with visible pores, fine lines and wrinkles, this seems to highlight all of those things negatively. I’ve tried with or without primer, with or without moisturiser, all without success as I’m left looking caked at the start and patchy a few hours later.

Very dissapointed
After spending quite a bit of money on what I thought was a really good foundation I am so so disappointed! It makes my skin look so so dry and it goes patchy after a little while and my skin looks cracked. I now need to find another brand of foundation to replace this one after spending £34 on it!

Would give it more stars if I could
Honestly the best foundation for people with large pores . It smoothed my nose and cheek pores so much , it lasts all day and has beautiful coverage. It doesn’t look heavy or “cakey” and I found it best applies for my skin type with a damp beauty blender. A note - it oxidises so don’t worry if it looks too light at first . I’m a shade “2 neutral ”

Hi I am currently wearing Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Foundation B40, what would you recommend I try please?

I would recommend trying Hourglass Foundation, the textures are really lovely and they have a wide range of colours. I wear ( Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick ) which is excellent and very easy to blend, a lot of Stick foundations are hard to blend, but this one glides on without any tugging or pulling of the skin. I also wear ( Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint ) which is actually my favourite, it’s got a beautiful radiance to it and is not as full a cover as the other one, but which ever I use they are both wonderful products to use. I have a quite a large variety of Hourglass cosmetics, I love their textures and wide choices in their colours, also, which is a very big bonus for me, none of their powder blushes or face powders have any talc in them, because if they had I would not be wearing them, I absolutely hate anything with talc in their ingredients.
