I Love this product !
I love this product!, I use every day with the 3 step facial wash and the cream my skin looks and feels so healthy. before I started using this product my skin was horrid and my makeup would never look even or stay in place. The Clinique representative advised me to use the 3 step and within a week my skin was much better and my make-up staying in place all day. I love the fresh clean feeling the cleanser gives after use and I have recommended the 3 step products to all my friends and family some of who are also now hooked. I'm so please with the Clinique products that the majority of my make-up is also Clinique

Best skin cleanser ever!
Love this product so much my face feels so fresh and clean after using this as step 2 after the facial soap and before using my moisturiser. My skin is so much better after using the 3 step skin care for the past 3 months. I never put much thought or time or even money into proper skin care but now I don't know what my skin would be like if I hadn't started to use Clinique! I always went to the doctor as my skin kept breaking out but since starting to cleanse my face properly using the Clinique 3 step skin care I have barely had any more breakouts and I have had many comments on how healthy my skin looks! Definitley worth the money for this clarifying lotion.

A good lotion, but I can't use it on it's own.
When I started getting into skin care a few years ago, I went to a Clinique Store and the consultant recommended I started out with their 3 step skin care. About 2-3 years later I still use this routine, but I've tweaked it a little. I like this lotion as I feel that the alcohol in it removes extra dirt and dead skin cells that don't get removed during cleansing. However I have large pores, and I found that this lotion couldn't do anything for that. So I started using this lotion alongside a different lotion, and my skin got a lot better: smaller pores, softer and less irritated. I still use this lotion but I think I couldn't use it on it's own as it doesn't really 'help' my skin.

I have started using the Clinique 3 step skincare system and this product is a little miracle in itself because after using the mild facial wash and then applying the Clarifying lotion my skin feels so cool and refreshed, definitely made a difference to my skin and I will continue to use this product along with the other two items in the 3 step system, it really is worth sticking to the twice a day routine using all 3 products as I can clearly see the difference, just wish I had done this a long time ago.

I almost didn't want to like this product because of it being more expensive than my typical drug store products, however, it is actually really good and I noticed a visible improvement after the first day. It smells a little bit like nail polish remover but it's never irritated my sensitive skin, and it's worked wonders for my skin; improved the texture and removed some of the redness.

Smooth and refreshed
Having never been a fan of scrubs, I've relied on Clarifying Lotions for exfoliation since I was 14 (battling very oily skin and acne) and I'm now 41 (no major skin issues). I've tried all the various CL throughout my life. The only caveat is that the best CL may not be the one recommended to you based on how oily/dry you are. You need really know what ingredients work for your skin. CL 1.0 is the only option with no alcohol, so choose that one if you know your skin reacts poorly to alcohol, whether or not you think you have "very dry, sensitive skin." CL 2 is the only formulation with no Salicylic Acid. It relies instead on Acetyl Glucosamine to polish surface of your skin instead of penetrating pores like salicylic acid does. IMO the best one is CL1. It has Salicylic Acid + Acetyl Glucosamine, and skin hydrators like Trehalose and sodium hyaluronate to 'buffer' the effects of exfoliation, all in a Low-alcohol package. I would recommend CL1 as first choice for all skin types, and CL1.0 if you find CL1 drying.

I just love it! BEST EVER
I started using clinique products 4years ago when a friend swore buy it. I was always changing to different makes of exfoliation, cleansing etc. My friend bought me the trial size pack to try it and I absolutely love it. Iv got combination skin but using the 3 step treatment everyone comments on my skin. I even had a hormonal breakout and after 3 days it totally cleared up. So impressed with this and it last ages. You really do only need a little, I got the largest bottle 400ml in May last year and still have a little bit left. I use it twice daily. Highly recommended especially now im 40. Now im using a lot more clinique products especially the foundation and powder. Ur makeup even lasts longer as you you use next to nothing after uv cleansed ur face. I will always stick with this uts a winner

So much improved
I've been using the 3-step for the past few years, and it's always worked wonders for me. However, the one thing I didn't like so much about it was the slight burning sensation on my skin after using the clarifying lotion - apparently just the cooling of the product on my skin, but it was always quite uncomfortable. I stuck with it because it worked so well. Now, however, Clinique has added a calming ingredient, and I've just tried the new formulation - no more burning sensation, just clear, comfortable skin. Amazing.
