Non-irritating!
Brilliant make-up remover! Having extremely sensitive eyes, I used to have to wash eye-make-up off with warm water so as to not irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes. I decided to take a chance with this product and I am so glad I did. The oil-like liquid is very light yet powerful, so only a few drops are needed to remove day make-up (a few more for night)! So far (a few months) it has not caused any irritation whatsoever. Marvellous!! When you accidentally but inevitably get it in your eye it doesn't sting or react at all! A complete rarity as many eye make-up removers do. I received this product as a sample and have since bought the full-sized version. Hope this helps you.

Take the day off
Once you've tried this make up remover there's no going back, there really is no other like it. It easily removes all make with minimal effort, even stubborn mascara is removed with just a few gentle wipes of cotton wool. This is one product that my bathroom cabinet is never without. I love it !

Useless bottle top
Very disappointed with this product, I've used it about 4 times and now can't get the top off. I press down as it says on top of the lid, then try to unscrew it, to no avail it keeps clicking as you turn it, but doesn't open, not user friendly at all. My husband has tried to open it to. I guess it must be a faulty top? I'd bought it (along with some other items) to take on holiday, but will have to find a replacement. It's also very wasteful as the top is just open, no dispenser in it. Not what I expect from Clinique!

Great product.... Terrible bottle!
This is a great product, it removes all traces of eye/lip makeup fabulously. However the bottle top is terrible, it has a medicine style safety cap that is a battle to remove, I have bruised my hand it is so difficult!! Clinique please change the cap on such a great product

Gentle and effective
Love this eye make up remover. It is gentle and causes no irritation, but easily smoothes off my mascara. Tried it first as a mini in a gift set, and have now bought a full size bottle. Mini size is perfect for my travel bag. You don't need a lot to remove effectively, so lasts a long time. Thank you Clinique.

Brilliant product, best ever!
I just love this product. It removes all traces of eye make up in particular, stubborn mascara and without any stinging or discomfort to your eyes. Highly recommended.

Panda eyes are a thing of the past thanks to 'Take the Day Off'. this product works really well, i use it all over my face but sometimes find that its a little too oily. I advise you use it before your 3-step programme for squeeky clean skin!

Absolutely amazing
I received a sample bottle of this product with a Clinique Bonus Offer and I was mightily impressed with it! So much so that I instantly went out and bought a full sized bottle the next day. The first day I tried it I had on BB cream, a touch of foundation on my t-zone AND powder... this product completely obliterated it all! When applied with a cotton wool ball this product is so easy to use and does not cause any irritation what so ever, even around the eye area (I have very sensitive skin). It left my skin feeling silky smooth and the results were simply sensational. This product should be a firm staple in any make up lover's bathroom.

Are the contents supposed to go back to 50 50% after being shaken? I have a bottle that was completely cloudy when it arrived, several hours later the lower part is 40% clear and the top remains 60% cloudy. Is this how it should be?
Yes it always goes back, you just need to shake it each time before use.

The Clinique Take The Day Off Make-Up Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips is not recommended to be used on the facial skin.
I would recommend using the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk on your skin to remove foundation and then the Lids, Lashes & Lips remover for the rest of the face.
