Loyal Superbalanced user for 25 years
I have been using Superbalanced in Creme Chamois since I was a teenager and needed something that wouldn't clog my pores and cover up blemishes. Over 25 years later I am still using this product and still loving the way it looks on my skin and how I can layer it to cover dark circles without needing other products. People tell me al the time -how do I look so good on no sleep. After 2 children and years of hard work, I can say that this foundation is as hard-working as I am. I use my finger to apply it. Agree with other comments that it can be challenging to get out of the bottle. I store it sideways or upside down to make application easier.

Exactly what I needed
As a teenager I suffer greatly from combination skin and I struggled to find a foundation that didn't go patchy on my dry areas or slip from my oily zone. Before this I was using Loreal True Match, and though the coverage was good, it didn't match my skin tone and often 'clumped' in areas, especially between my eyebrows. This foundation is the perfect middle ground between coverage and getting a natural, seamless finish. It covered all my blemishes and stayed on for hours, even after a busy 5 hour shift in a sweltering restaurant. It's definitely worth the money if you want the flawless finish. Would highly recommend!

Excellent for mature skin
I have uneven skin tone, sun spots and freckles, crepey eyelids,thin skin under eyes and oily nose. This foundation is perfect. It blends easily and evens out my skin tone. It isn't full coverage which I think is more forgiving on mature skin (53). I don't use primer or setting powder and this stays put. I previously used even better but now the slight sheen highlights my uneven complexion. Fab on younger or clearer skin though. This has a very slight Matt finish. It looks nice and natural. Quite honestly I wouldn't care if this was packaged in a crisp packet and being anti plastic, prefer the glass bottle.

My experience when buying this foundation was great, the lady at the counter sat down with me and asked exactly what I wanted from a foundation, so I was excited to try it after I purchased it. It was lovely to apply and blended well, however I found that after 3-4 hours after applying it and using powder, my makeup was looking shiny... and the foundation has wrecked my face! I have had many awful dry patches on my skin since using it, and it has also completely broke me out in spots all over my face, and did not work well with my oily skin. Maybe I had a bad reaction to it, but this has never happened to me with a makeup product before.

Great foundation but awful packaging
The foundation itself is lovely, applies very well and gives a gorgeous, pretty medium coverage finish. However, one thing deters me from using this product: the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle which is lovely to look at (and, admittedly, feels quite nice to hold), however, it is without a pump, so, in order to get the product out, you have to almost slam the bottle down on your hand (which really quite hurts), and even then, the product sometimes still does not come out unless you have shaken it beforehand very well. Overall, I think the product is lovely but this foundation NEEDS a pump or a new bottle.

Fantastic foundation - please don't change it!
I have been using this foundation for 8 yrs now since it was recommended in a consultation. Every now and then I browse the others but always end up coming back to this. As others have said, it manages to pull off being both invisible and covering and it blends perfectly. And ideally for me it has no SPF, which is getting so difficult to find. I am allergic to something in most sunscreens, including Clinique and so am always searching out non-SPF skincare and makeup. I notice with slight concern that there is a new variant of Superbalanced which does have SPF - PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS ONE CLINIQUE!!

I love this foundation
I feel like I've worked my way through every foundation on the market and have never really found what I've been looking for. I have an oily t zone and always find that half way though the day I'm super shiny. Superbalanced is the only foundation which I've found which doesn't make you look like a sweaty mess! It has a matt/dewy finish & doesn't sit in your wrinkles making you looked like a cracked mess. It has quite a runny formula which I like, is light, easy to apply and lasts for ages. Please never discontinue this product Clinique!!

Excellent product, poor packaging
I've been using this make up for a long time now and can say it's the best foundation I've ever used. It's light on your skin, smooth to apply, long lasting and is good for combination skin like mine. Your skin feels nourished and on the odd passion I've forgotten to take it off at night it hasn't affected my skin. I would give a 5* review if not for the ridiculous glass bottle it comes in. It's difficult to get the correct amount of foundation out and leaves a lot of wastage towards the end. Much much prefer squeezy bottles, like the even better range. I get frustrated with it on a daily basis!
