Great for back/chest acne
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have struggled for years with back and chest acne and nothing seems to help. So I thought I’d give this a go and a few weeks in I’ve already seen a major improvement. It’s not too abrasive but I do feel it cleans my skin and strips away extra oils and takes the film of conditioner off my back after washing my hair. I also use it to exfoliate my bikini area and legs inbetween waxes and haven’t suffered any irritation. I keep it in a soap dish out of the shower and so far it doesn’t appear to have changed in size and that it with daily use. Once again Ethique have created a great product

Cleans very well. Just doesn’t last very long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main issue with this is I consumed an entire bar inside a few weeks. It went very fast. For the price it gets very expensive at that rate. Wouldn’t matter so much if it was much cheaper on a subscription service.
As a cleaner I felt it did a good job and I got used to using it the more I used it. It made a good lather easily. Maybe could do with a touch of moisturiser in it or make it clearer what to buy alongside it for that purpose.
But good cleaner. Likes using it. No issues at all there.
Just wish it lasted longer!

Too aggressive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this bar, I have dry skin and was looking to buy a bar combined with a scrub. I have to say the smell is amazing really refreshing, but the pumice is way too aggressive even with light pressure. My skin was scratched and sore I looked like I had been clawed by a cat. I left it 3 days and tried again with light pressure, but I have had to throw it out just too aggressive. I would buy again if you change the pumice to poppy seed which is milder.

Scratched my skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan of Ethique and have been using their products for some time. I am sad to leave a negative review of this particular product. I used it for the first time today and I’ve been left looking like my cats have had a fight with me. My arms in particular are scratched to bits! I’m going to have to return it and look at something different instead. The only other option is to lather the soap in my hands first before using it on my body.

Scrubby & minty!

I did find this quite scratchy at first, but I decided instead to rub it between hands and then apply it to get round this. The exfoliation is lovely and left my skin super soft, but I would maybe only do this once every few days to once a week as I have quite sensitive skin. Not too much to complain about though as it left me clean and soft afterwards!

Good quality and long lasting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is quite strong and has like an exfoliating effect ir is great if you are looking for this effect. Otherwise, it may be quite strong and leave marks on your skin ( it would be good to use with a soap bag so your skin it is protected ). The smell is not too strong , so it is perfect if that is the effect that you are looking for. Long lasting.

SCRATCHY...watch out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love ethique but the pumice in this soap is VERY coarse. Do not expect gentle exfoliation! I happily used this for the first time and came out of the shower covered in scratch marks. If you have sensitive skin this is not for you! I see they've put a caveat in the product description advising 'gentle' application...I would just steer clear.

Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a mini of this and had no issues, but when I tried the big bar, it scraped my skin something awful, left me with cuts up my legs and on my underarms.
It's such a shame, because I loved the smell of the bar, just my skin cannot handle the pumice in it. I'll be giving this one a miss from now, and sticking to the smooth ethique bars
