Armani Luminous Silk
I finally took the plunge on this foundation and although trying to choose a colour online is a bit of a lottery, I managed to get this spot on (I chose 5.25). It’s everything I hoped it would be, easy to apply and gives perfect coverage on my 67 year old skin (normal/slightly combo skin). Goes on smoothly with a brush (haven’t used either fingers or a beauty blender so can’t comment on that application method) and gives a beautiful finish, not too glowy, just perfect for me. I did powder my T-zone. It didn’t settle into my wrinkles (yaaaay) and lasted all day. Didn’t oxidise on me, so all in all, a complete winner and glad I finally pulled the trigger on it.

My favourite foundation!
I previously brought this foundation in Shade 5.5 and fell in love with it! It’s a shade darker for my skin but is perfect when I feel I need a bit of a glow! And then I have recently just purchased it in the shade 5 which matches my skin tone perfectly! I love this foundation so much and price does reflect the quality it’s a light to medium coverage but is so perfect! It doesn’t settle in fine lines and doesn’t go cakey it really is a dream and I’m so glad I decided to try it when I did, it is a matte/dewy finish it really is gorgeous and lightweight I would never use another foundation again!

The Best Foundation
I bought this a month ago after debating over the price and I am so glad I did . Its lightweight but buildable for desired coverage and melts into the skin . Its not too luminous but definitely not matte but just looks as though you've been airbrushed .It does not separate throughout the day like other foundations I have tried and applies well with a beauty sponge or flat khaki brush and I only need 1-2 pumps . I got shade 5 which I think suits fair skin tones but this has a slight warm undertone to warm up the face , I would 100% recommend this product and will definitely re- purchase

So smooth and light with perfect coverage
I lusted to try this after seeing it being used on many famous makeup artists and beauty fanatics on social media and reading many great reviews, I was sceptical after religiously using a previous foundation for many months thinking no other foundation could compare... this foundation is now my go to foundation. Medium to heavy medium coverage (that perfectly covers dark areas) with the application feel of a moisturiser or light coverage foundation. The colour is a great match too, I struggle to find a good match seeming I have very fair, pale skin, however the shade '2' suits my skin perfectly and even gives it a subtle and healthy glow! Would 100% recommend this foundation.

Nice foundation but with some set backs
This foundation looks very nice on first application. It has a glowy finish and light coverage. Unfortunately it breaks down and becomes unbearably greasy within an hour. I have very very dry skin so I usually find that foundations look better over time. But not this one.
As for shades, I am fair/light with a very yellow undertone. The shade 3 is very fair with a yellow undertone and was far to light on me. Like this is lighter than Nars gobi (but maybe not quite as yellow). The shade 4 is my personal closet match in terms of depth. I’d say it’s a true neutral but since my skin is so yellow it pulls a little pink/peach. For reference bourjois healthy mix serum in 51 is pretty much a perfect match for me.

Honestly the best makeup I've tried!
Firstly, I'm a guy. I'm pretty self conscious when it comes to red marks and acne, I've been wearing foundation for a few years now and this is honestly the best foundation I've used since the beginning.
I find that even with primer/powder and such, a lot of the other foundations I have tried tend to cake inbetween my eyebrows and especially on the sides of my nose (no matter how much I apply, how much moisturiser/primer I use etc) but as soon as I used this I found that doesn't happen at all!
The only downside for me is that as a guy I don't really feel comfortable getting tested for my 'perfect' foundation shade, not saying all guys should feel uncomfortable though, it's just me. Because of that I bought a shade darker than usual and people have been saying I look tanned which I take as a compliment as it looks like I'm not wearing makeup at all!

I'm a shade Barcelona from Nars and bought the shade 6.5 which is a perfect match for my skin. definitely you can tell that you're wearing a high end foundation- a flawless dewy ( but not too dewy) look. You can not go wrong with this foudantion

Love it!!!
Using YSL number 8 for 7 years I really fancied a change. My niece uses this foundation and I tried a little of hers on my face and instantly fell in in love with it. It's a smothe liquid which easily spread evenly into your face. it have my face a shimmer type of look I got a lot of compliments at a wedding so I will still use my YSL as it's an easy brush applied foundation but I will wear armani on special occasions. One down fall the foundation is pricey to wear for everyday wear as you do need more than a blob of the stuff I use about 3 small blobs to cover my face nicely.
