Excellent
I have acne. Not cystic but comedonal which I have found difficult to control. I have tried medicated creams from my doctor and antibiotics, all have which failed to treat it. I now have found a cream from another brand that has significantly improved my skin. I have always been a Kiehl's fan and never considered a toner of much use (others I have use have just dried my skin completely). The assistant used this on my skin when I was in store and wow! It has further cleared my skin and brightened it. It is expensive but it does last a long time. Cannot recommend it enough.

The Only Toner I'll Ever Use
I suffer from moderate acne and have SUPER oily skin and have tried a range of products over the years. When I was finally introduced to Kiehl's and more importantly the Calendula Herbal Extract Toner I became obsessed. It's kind to my skin and calms the redness. I can confidently apply moisturiser (use the Blue Herbal Moisturiser) without thinking my skin is too greasy to do so. Whether I continue to use the Blue Herbal range is something I'll have to think about (may need something containing Benzoyl Peroxide instead) but I'll never stop using this toner.

The holy grail for oily skin!
Great product! I have had oily skin for years and have tried a myriad of these things to correct it. Adding oil to my skin so that my skin wouldn’t need to overproduce it, trying to fix the issue with moisturisers, using toners containing clay to absorb the excess oil during the day... you name it, I’ve tried it but nothing worked. This gentle, oil and alcohol free toner HAS fixed it! The reason being that it has balanced my skin’s PH level and in turn restored my skin’s natural moisture barrier. I would highly recommend this product for that reason. And if you team it with a daily peel like the Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta two-step peel, you will truly fix the issue for good.

Best toner for my skin
I have been using this toner for the last few years and I always make sure I stock up so there is no chance I will run out! I absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel, and it makes such a difference to the way my skin looks too. I had horrible acne in my twenties, requiring heavy medication, and now my skin can be prone to oiliness. This products calms it right down, gets rid of any redness, and allows me to moisturise and keep my skin hydrated without breaking out. The price tag is hefty for a toner, however it is a natural product and I feel it is worth every penny. Much better than cheap alternatives that are alcohol based and completely dry my skin and sting when I used them in the past.

My absolute favourite toner. Balances my skin perfectly with out drying it out. Although it is a bit pricey a little really does go a long way (I transfer mine into a spray bottle to make it go further and evenly distribute the product)

Zen in a Bottle!
Absolutely love this toner. I have had a love hate relationship with toners but now I realise it is because I wasn't using the right toner for my skin. My skin is oily but lacks hydration yet sensitive. I also tend to travel quite a bit so my skin needs to get used to the harsh climate changes. I quite literally gave up on even investing in a toner until I was recommended this product in the store.
I thought the prise was a bit steep in the beginning however, since I am getting married in 3 months, I figured it's now that I really need to invest in a good facial regime!
I love how organic this product is and how you can actually see the floating flower petals. The toner is gentle and soothing but takes care of my oil at the same time. Wonderful purchase!!

Great product, but a suggestion...
Product leaves skin feeling and looking great, but I do just have a suggestion: I often find that the bits of herbs etc from the bottom of the bottle can find their way onto the cotton pad, which of course I don't really want to end up on my face. Perhaps some kind of filter/gauze just under the cap/nozzle would prevent this?

Not worth the hype!
I am a long time devotee of kiehls so I was expecting big things of this product. Sadly not to be. Got this as a freebie which is possibly the best thing about it. Scent is quite nice and I like the calendula in the bottle however that is where the likes sadly stop. I didn't find it moisturizing, cleansing or soothing in fact I found this very drying on my skin. I also felt it didn't actually add anything to my routine, my skin wasn't brightened . That said I have dry not oily problematic skin which I guess is what it is designed to work on. For me it's definitely a big no. It's also exceptionally expensive. I will stick to the ultra facial toner much better suited to my skin type.
