Finally a retinol which works !!
I have a Asian skin dusky complexion and extremely dehydrated cause I am anemic. No creams or serums have ever worked their magic on my skin. The only other serum which I have used with great results is sulwashoo but extremely difficult to source in UK. This is revolutionary and it’s right on my way to my workplace. With one usage I could send my skin smoother but with recurrent usage I can see how it makes my skin glow n clearer. The signs of aging are visibly cleared. I strongly recommend this. For my skin I am ready to pay this price. I use it three times a week and the product lasts me two months. I always use a la Rochey sunscreen in the morning.

Not Convinced?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for over a month and have been applying it daily, at night. It did initially make my skin really sensitive and was sore when applying my normal moisturiser in the day. This I know is expected with retinol. My skin got over the sensitivity period and was comfortable to apply and the serum feel lovely on my skin.
I took 2 pictures before and after but have not posted them as I have not noticed any difference in my skin. My lines look no different and my skin was good before. I wouldn't purchase this serum as I see no difference in the quality of my skin.

Great - visible improvement!
I've had the chance to use this Retinol Serum for just over 2 months, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the results.
This is the first retinol product I've used and thankfully I didn't have any of the negative results I'd read about with other retinol products (I did use Kiehls UV daily protection and Kiehls oil free moisturiser as part of my routine to help). Then the benefits - the lines on my forehead are visibly reduced and my scar isn't as noticeable, so I'm really happy with the results and I will definitely keep as part of my routine ongoing.

Loved this until it changed my skin
I bought this about a year ago and used it every night and Kiehls SPF everyday (as well as lots of other products from Kiehls). I have never left a bad review for any product from Kiels but after about 8 months of using it I started getting dark spots on my cheek bones. I naively thought I was getting freckles as the weather was getting warmer but realised they weren’t. It was the reviews on here that helped me realise what happened and identify the cause. So leaving this review in hopes it helps another. The advisors in store were fantastic, let me swap for another product and gave me lots of advice for the dark spots. So I’d say great for those not prone to dark spots but to be aware this could happen.

Lovely product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product every day for 8 weeks now and as much as I haven't noticed amazing results it has been a lovely product to use. This was my first ever product with retinol so I was a little worried about the purging I had heard so much about but this product didn't cause any dryness, redness or flaky skin. It is a lovely light creamy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. I will say though it does have a slightly funky smell but it goes quickly so wouldn't put me off the product. I also love the fact that it has peptides and ceramides too, lots of goodness for the skin. Overall a lovely product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to try and was seriously impressed. I’ve used retinol before but my skin is sensitive and can react. Not this product. A little goes a long way and my skin hasn’t reacted badly to the retinol by going red, dry or over sensitive as has been the case with some others. I felt the product had been effective and my brow lines in particular looked less deep, but I’ve also received several compliments on how my skin currently looks to back up my initial thought on the product. Also doesn’t have the chemical smell like some others. Remember your SPF during the day and you won’t be disappointed if you use :-)

Give it some time!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave it three stars for the reasons only 1. I felt the direction isn't suitable for all face sizes - it advises to you use a pea size amount but I felt I had to use alot to really spread it on my face. 2. It was quite oily type based on my skin. I didn't mind it as I do suffer from dry skin. 3. I didn't see a massive difference on my face with this skin renewing serum , you deffo need it to give it some time, I been using it for about two weeks now and can only see a very small amount of change on my skin. On the positive, it didn't irritate my skin so I would say its gentle to use considering I have sensitive skin.

Not one of my fave kiehls products… YET!
I use kiehls for my entire skincare routine and have never had any issues and don’t have overly sensitive skin. i’d never tried retinol before because I was worried about the side effects its known to cause so when kiehls came out with this microdose retinol for even sensitive skin I was so excited. But I’m not 100% sold yet, I have some side effects from what I’m guessing is the retinoid purging phase, 2x painful cystic spots have appeared on my chin, overall bumpy texture and slight flaking and peeling on chin and slight burning/itching when first applied. I’m planning to stick with it because I know its worth while having retinoids in my routine but its selling itself as a minimal side effect formula… if thats the case I’d hate to see the state of my skin with a normal retinol formula.
