Perfect top up product!
Despite knowing the importance of topping up spf throughout the day, I could never really be bothered until I found this product. I tried other spf products such as powders, but they left my skin looking too matte and dull. Other brands offer a mist, but they generally either sting the eyes or are poor value for money. I’m so glad I found this superstar from La Roche Posay - I’m totally converted to their suncare products! This is good value for money, it does not sting the eyes, and feels feather-light on the skin. I can top up several times throughout the day without feeling a trace of residue. I am so pleased and now recommend this brand to friends and family.

Unbeatable facial suncare
This is SUCH a find! I have tried countless sun screens for the face - aimed at babies, sensitive skin, etc etc. They have always slipped into my eyes on hot days. I used this for the last week - including one day when temperature reached 29 degrees - and the only way I know it's on is because I don't burn. It's a joy to apply and truly feels weightless. No more sore & streaming eyes; no white cast; no grease; no shine. Think this might just be my holy grail of facial suncare!!

Leaves white flakes on my face!
I really had high hopes for this as I have been looking for something that I can use on top of my make up throughout the day. I have found that whether I have make up on or not and even if I only spray a little amount there is white flakes all of my face (even on my eyelashes!). Very very disappointed and would not recommend at all.. don't it's a very reliable product in terms of spf if it just flakes on the face...

Peeled off my face in white crumbs
In theory, this ticks a lot of boxes for me (high spf, non comedogenic, anti-shine). In practice however, it peeled off my face in unsightly white crumbs minutes after application, no matter how much or how little I applied. Total waste of money, and such a shame as I really wanted to like it.

The best mist spf of its type... but not a fab spf
Positives... excellent brand, really knows that they are doing. There is some need for a product like this, a top up spf.. but it os a top up. Provides some moisture, doesnt upset make up and is mattifying over sweaty oily skin. For that alone, its a thumbs up.
Negatives... only one. That you'd have to use half a can to obtain the stated spf. And La Roche Posay do so alternatives that are AMAZING spfs.
However if I was going to rely on an mist spf, this has got to be one of the best on the market!
Conclusion... yes I would repurchase purely as it is a nice mist and fab for handbags. I wouldnt use it for its spf purposes, i think thats more of a nice bonus. And good to keep as a better than nothing spf in the work drawer for a typical British 'where did that sun come from?' Moment.
I would however use alternatives from this brand in future.

Perfect Over Makeup SPF Spray
I wanted a high SPF spray that was able to be used over the top of makeup. After reading the negative reviews about other sprays, i came across the La Roche-Posay SPF 50 face mist. Being a fan of La Roche-Posay for many years i decided to give it a try and i am so very glad i did. This is the perfect invisible high SPF mist for applying over makeup to top up your SPF throughout the day. It doesn't leave any white cast or greasy film over your face. It is a completely invisible incredibly fine. The only downside really is that the very small can doesn't last very long. I bought 2 cans whilst it was discounted but both cans have only lasted me 3 weeks of daily usage, so it can become rather expensive! All in all, a great product that i will continue to buy.

Very nice product
It is really an invisible protective mist. I love it. I wish that la roche posay could remove the perfume from it. But in general it is a good product

Good spray spf
Good sunscreen to put on top of make up. Mind that you'll need to pat it in with a blender or something, because it leaves these tiny droplets of spf that look like water. It blends in very well!
Don't get it on your glasses, a pain to get off.

can it be used on body also

We wouldn't recommend using this product on the body as the size of the product is designed for the customer to use it specifically on the face, however the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Body Spray 50+ 200ml can be used on the body OR the La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF30 Spray 200ml can be used on the face and body.

What's the UVA star rating for this product?

La Roche Posay advise that the star rating is a system that is licensed by Boots. The UVA circle is the only UVA rating officially recognised & regulated by product safety authorities in the UK.
This product is suitable for oily and blemish-prone skin and suitable for skin that is prone to sensitivity, sun-intolerance or prickly-heat. It also has exceptionally high, broad, photostable UVA/UVB & infrared protection.

Does this spray have the same ingredients as the popular spf 50 facial fluid - as in Mexoryl. Does it have the same standard of UVA protection and does it contain antioxidants? Thanks in advance.

The Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Fluid Ultra-Light contains 3 ingredients which makes up the Mexoplex Filtering System, these are;
BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE
DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE
TEREPHTHALYLIDENE DICAMPHOR SULFONIC ACID
The Anthelios Invisible Face Mist SPF 50+ 75ml only contains one of these ingredients which is the DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE.
All of La Roche-Posay's Suncare contain their unique Thermal Spring Water which is enriched with anti oxidants and minerals.
