Shinier than the last formulation
While the sunscreen is still great for sensitive skin, I'm afraid it's thicker and shinier than the last version of it. I don't know why LRP made it shinier given most people's issue with the original was the shine, which I found manageable. I have dry/normal skin, and it still leaves me looking oily, so I don't know if I can continue with this product...

BEWARE: Perfume now added!!!!
I've been using this Anthelios SOF 50+ face cream daily for over 12 years. I've just received my new tube and it is heavily perfumed! I have sensitive skin so avoid perfumed facial products. The scent is overwhelming and within minutes I've got that uncomfortable irritated feeling. I've compared the packaging of my old tube and this new one and sure enough the new one no longer states 'non-perfumed' as you will also see from the pictures on this product page. It is upsetting that the product description on this page STILL states that no perfume is used which is clearly deception.

Customer care silence
I purchased several tubes of this cream after reading good reviews. I have very sensitive skin and to my disappointment my skin reacted badly to this formula. My eyes stung and watered really badly and my nose/mouth area became red, raw and very sore. I sent several contact forms to ask for advice and no one replied to me. I have two unopened tubes as I can’t t use them on my body as the cream marks on white clothes. So disappointed that I cannot use this but feel a sun care brand could at least reply to messages asking for advice. My white blouse was ruined in one day wearing this cream

Utterly marvellous
I loved the original version and this one is just as good. I use tretinoin so my skin is very sensitive and burns easily but this protects me even in he harshest sun, even when I'm sweating heavily when exercising. The tretinoin makes the skin around my eyes very easily irritated and very reactive and yet this does not irritate me AT ALL. No stinging, no redness. Bravo

Just as good as the original
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an upgrade of the previous "Sensitive eyes" one, which has been my go-to for years now. This iteration feels just as good - hydrating, without feeling heavy, reapplies easily, not too shiny. I was excited to try out a new formulation of my go-to sunscreen, and I was no disappointed. I did not notice any immediate differences in the formulation - it looks and feels the same as the old "hydrating cream", reapplies just as easily. It does not sting the eyes, which is usually the deal-breaker for me when it comes to sunscreens, as I apply these all the way up to the lashline, and on the eyelids.
Yet another great sunscreen from LRP!

Hydrating and protecting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have combination mature skin and melasma, which means I need a high SPF to protect my skin in summer. I have tried all kinds of SPF's - gels, sprays, creams & lotions - in the quest to find one that doesn't t feel heavy on the skin and or make my face greasy. This product is a cream so I was worried that it would sit on top of my skin, however it absorbs beautifully. My skin feels hyrated and bouncy through the day with no stickiness. It's a chemical SPF so there is no white cast. It's an effective forumula that feels more expensive than it is and perfect for dryer or mature skin types that need a little more hydration. Highly recommend.

Can’t fault it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this SPF. It leaves your skin looking healthy and doesn’t leave a white caste, which is the most important things for me when looking for SPFs. If you’re in the market for a new SPF definitely give this one a try!!

New formula, great reliable protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I have been a huge fun of the Anthelios imperfections and now the photocorrect sunscreen but having read about the improvements that La Roche Posay was making to its flagship sunscreen I tried this one and it doesn’t disappoint. My worry has always been that sunscreen will make me breakout but this never happened even after multiple applications. It’s perfect for daily wear and if I need a top up I can easily use the invisible fluid one instead. I’ve only used it for a week but can see already that some marks from previous acne are starting to fade out too but most importantly I know this protects me which is all you can ask from a sunscreen.
