The La Roche-Posay vitamin C serum is formulated for customers with wrinkles, lack of radiance and skin irregularities. For all skin types even combination and sensitive skin.

Pure Vitamin C works on reintroducing the elastic properties of skin. While Hyaluronic Acid plumps skin with moisture to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Deeply hydrating and skin-smoothing, it also contains Salicylic Acid to gently exfoliate away dead skin for a brighter, more uniform tone and texture. Its dose of Thermal Water, with exceptional mineral diversity, delivers soothing, restorative and protective benefits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this! It sinks into my skin and neck really quickly. I waited a few weeks to post this review because I wanted to see if there was a difference and my skin looks fresher and supple. My eye area is dry so i gently dabbed this around there and it did sort out the dryness. A small amount goes a long way in the summer months it's my go-to. Works well on my neck which is lined. I'm afraid I didn't like the tube ( there's a proper name for it but it escapes me) as it's difficult to conte how much product you need. I just go for one dollop warmed up in my hands. Overall an effective and impressive product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At last! A Vitamin C serum that brings my skin to life [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted to use a Vit. C serum on my face for a very long time but any previous ones I've attempted (from other brands) have resulted in my face becoming very red and sensitive. It was therefore with some trepidation I decided to try LRP's own. I can happily say it's been several months since I first started using it and my skin is loving it! The serum has a similar consistency to hyaluronic acid, a silky, slightly viscose liquid. On application, my sensitive face immediately feels softer and moisturised. However, it's the other benefit I'm most delighted about. My skin looks fresh and alive. It has this glow about it that I haven't seen in years. It's not the sheen that you get from applying an oil etc. but a radiance that I never thought I would see again within my skin. I have fallen in love with this product and look forward to seeing how it will help my skin through the oncoming autumn and winter weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential part to the skin’s ABC routine! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using vit C serums for good couple of years as it is a well known radiance booster and after the success of LRP vit B serum which is now forming part of my skincare routine I was looking forward to trying new vit C product! As usual La Roche Posay did not disappoint: serum is light-weight, absorbs quickly so following with moisturiser immediately is not an issue and I have also noted its resilience to oxidisation which frequently occurs with vit C products reducing their potency. Will definitely repurchase for its skin radiance boost and pleasant application!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed This brand gets high praise from beauty commentators, so I feel very surprised at the poor qua;ity of this Vitamin C serum. I don't mind the stickiness as once it's on the skin it sinks in, but I was very puzzled by what seemed to be grittiness on my face afterwards. This is the first Vitamn C I have used on my face and wasn't sure what to expect. From the comments already posted I realise this is the pilling being referred to. It's quite unacceptable and I'm very surprised that what appears to be a highly regarded brand sells such an inferior product. It has put me off buying further La Roche-Posay products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing serum, left me glowing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing serum. I have been reading for ages on the benefits of vitamin C for the skin however I was skeptical at best however I am so glad I decided to bite the bullet and try this. After using this product my skin is literally glowing and looks full of life and super healthy. I have had so many compliments from other mums in the school playground (and who doesn't want that). It is easy to apply and leaves my skin looking and feeling great. I can totally understand the hype around vitamin C now and will continue to use this serum as part of my regular skin regime.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Causes pilling, bad packaging, not effective I was looking forward to trying this serum as I've used other 10% vitamin c products with good results. After using this for about a month I can't see any noticeable difference in my brightness or glow. I also find it causes anything I put over the top to pill, including LRP moisturisers. The packaging is badly desgined, so when you put the pipette back in product spills over the side causing wastage and mess. It also allows the product to oxidise quickly, so may be on the reasons I'm not seeing many benefits. The only thing I like about the serum is that it sinks in quickly and feels hydrating. I don't see myself finishing it, mostly because of the pilling issue. Overall, very disappointed and expensive for the overal quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Decomposes fast, causes pilling, expensive This serum is very gentle and hydrating but the design and formulation is poor. The dropper bottle ensures that the serum decomposes too fast due to oxidation and increases the risk of contamination. Within a week I can see that the serum is becoming darker. An airless pump system would be better. Also, LRP recommend Anthelios 50+ to apply on top of this serum, and while I love that sunscreen when you combine the two pilling occurs. This really is a poor decision by LRP, and though I use many of their other products I hope they can produce a better vitamin C serum in future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor reflection on La Roche products, do not buy I was really excited to try this product after using multiple other LRP products but I would highly recommend not purchasing! Initial thoughts about the product were good as it smells good and initially felt nice on the skin. Firstly, the product cannot be used under makeup as it crumbles even when I has been left on for a significant amount of time. Secondly, the product oxidises so quickly (within a month) Finally, the design of the pipette is not effective, it doesn’t suck up the liquid meaning. Although I wouldn’t recommend this product but I wouldn’t put anyone off buying any other products from the brand!

Hi - can i use this at night or only mornings? Would it block a night time skin purge? And will it make my skin more sensitive to the sun like a retinol does?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hey there, This product is designed to be used in the mornings only. Vitamin C has been praised for its anti-aging and brightening benefits, but studies have shown that it also works as a sun-damage protectant. We always encourage those using Retinols of Vitamin C to use an SPF in the daytime to protect their skin. Hope this helps! Many thanks Katie, Beauty Expert.

Can I use pure vitamin C10 under the eye area? I know it says not on eye contour but does that mean the eyes lids? Any other vitamin C I have had can be used around the eyes?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hey there, The eye contour area is a circle that reaches from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner below the end of your eyebrow. It includes the area underneath your eye as well as up to your brow bone including the eyelid. Vitamin C is highly acidic and comes in many forms which sometimes are unsuitable for delicate skin such as the eyelid. Hope this helps! Many thanks Katie, Beauty Expert.
