Lovely
The smell: like a lemon pie, absolutely lovely
The texture: a gel that turns to a thick oil but then slowly breaks down the more you rub it in.
This cleanser is lovely and not surprising given liz earle have a lovely cleansing range and the only cleanser that doesn't over cleanse and make me break out.
I gave this 4 as I recommend either using this to take makeup off followed by the hot cloth cleanser or remove makeup with a pad then use this to get rid of residue.
When I tired it only on its own it still left traces of mascara.
I double cleanse in the evening anyway so don't find this an issue.

Not for me
What a palaver to apply and in direct contrast to the other Cleanse and Polish (in particular my favourite Juniper and Bergamot version) it's not suitable to take eye make-up off. I will be sticking with the more effective less messy cleanser.

Like feel which once applied to your skin it feels like an oil. .The texture allows a small amount of product to be evenly distributed. The product upon rinsing turned to a milky liquid and was easily removed. After first use my skin looked refreshed and had a healthy glow. I will definatly be adding more off this brand to my skin care. Well done Liz Earle

My new holy grail! 😍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster in return for my honest review. Trust me when I say this, I have found my new holy grail! This cleanser is by far the most luxurious that I have ever used, it leaves skin feeling super clean and fresh unlike any other! I suffer with blemishes around my ‘time of the month’ and this has really helped maintain a healthy, fresh complexion throughout with minimal blemishes. It smells so lovely and I love the transforming textures that it goes through whilst using (gel to oil to milk). I have already recommended to my friends and I will be using this religiously now.

Surprised!
Bought this after seeing demonstrations on tv. Having used cleanse and polish for quite a few years now I couldn’t really understand why a new cleanser was needed. However, this is a completely different experience. The texture is a thick gel and I imagine it sticking to everything that needs removing from the skin similar to a peel off mask; but instead of peeling it it washes away easily with water and really does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. I like being able to wash it away with water rather than the cotton cloth as I then feel I have washed my face properly. I really like this new cleanser; maybe even more than the cleanse and polish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I used the original Hot cloth cleanser years ago and liked it but this cleanse and glow gel to oil to milk is a love for me! I usually have to use first balm and follow in cleanser for my night routine to remove first dust and then remaining dirt on my face with gel cleanser, but this one has everything in it! You use this gel on your face and it transforms into oil, then adding water it changes into milk and skin is perfectly clean, without another step. The scent is to die for, especially if you like fruit scent like me! It’s effective, yet gentle and doesn’t dry skin.

Good product.
Bought in January. Been using and alternating with cleanse and polish. Leaves skin feeling clean and glowing. I learnt not to use too much as it can be a little drying. Also, I’ve used with the muslin cloth as well as on its own (don’t know whether I’m supposed to) but it seems to be better for my skin with the cloth. My skin looks much brighter, clearer and softer this way. No sign of any makeup left on my eyes or face. It washes away easily and doesn’t make my eyes red. Would buy again
