Harsh on sensitive eyes
Was a bit harsh on my skin as it has a lot of fragrance added. Really stung my eyes. I wouldn't recommend to use this to remove eye makeup or on sensitive skin in general.

Stingy eyes
Smells amazing, lovely texture, removes make up easily but unfortunately it isn’t good for sensitive eyes. My eyes just stream & steam every time I use this.
But but feels great on my face if I avoid eyes

Loved it!
I bought it maybe 3 months ago, it lasted pretty well, I am still using it. I use it every morning to add that extra glow and brightness to my otherwise quite dull and pigmented skin. It helped brighten my spots pigmentation as well, but after 3 months of using it, don't expect instant results. It doesn't dry out my skin and is really refreshing and gentle. Smells good without being too strong which I really appreciate.

I’m a big fan of balm cleansers and bought this one as it got good reviews in the Times magazine. The first week of using I found it left my face quite dry and flaky. I persevered and am loving it now. It’s takes a lot of effort to massage on the face. It has a vaseline like texture but washes off beautifully and removes all traces of makeup. It is brightening and softening to the face. It’s good value for money. Gave four stars as the smell is not as nice as other cleansing balms and does not feel as luxurious but it is a really good cleaner.

Disappointed
I bought this on the recommendation of the Times beauty writer, who said it would even remove a long-wear mascara which she had recommended and which I had already bought. It simply doesn’t do so. The texture is very thick and it’s quite hard to squeeze out of the tube. It doesn’t lather up, and the fragrance is almost non-existence. I will be going back to Liz Earle hot cloth and polish cleanser as soon as I have finished this. Sorry to give a negative review.

Lovely cleanser
After trying a sample, I bought the full size, as I really liked it. It has a fresh scent and very creamy, lovely for the morning cleanse.
Sometimes it’s hard to get out of the tube...

I was bitterly disappointed.
I really wanted to like this balm but it was too harsh and drying for my skin leaving with me with spots and scaly skin. I was bitterly disappointed.

Was really excited to buy this product after reading some great reviews . However i was disappointed as it wasn’t very effective at cleaning off eye make up and really stung my eyes . No great improvement in my complexion either . Wouldn’t buy again
