I purchased this product after receiving a sample from Pat McGrath. This is an ideal second step in skincare, after toner and before serum, to help with glow and hydration.
To use, you shake the bottle and mix the two liquids together. There is a strong scent of rose, but for me, it's not off-putting. It is very watery when pouring droplets on to your hand and does need immediate application. A few drops applied all over the face really helps boost hydration and allows for other following products to really absorb well. Without using, I notice a huge difference in the luminosity of my makeup, which even shows well through powder foundation with this. It also really helps with plumping up fine lines and stops makeup creasing as badly in my 11 lines.
I really love this essence and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin at all, despite the strong fragrance. I'd highly recommend.
