Surprisingly effective!
I was a little surprised by this as I've only ever used much more liquid toners so this seemed more like a serum than a toner to me. It's thicker than a usual toner (hence lotion) and it is suggested that you use fingers to apply rather than a cotton pad. It feels a bit sticky at first but that soon passes and it is absorbed. After a week of use my skin definitely feels plumper and smoother and looks more hydrated. My skin can be quite sensitive but it isn't having any adverse reaction. Overall I'm pleased with the effect it is having. So I guess for me it's 5 stars for the effect but 4 stars because I'm not sure about its stickiness!

Lovely, lightweight and moisturising
I really like this product, I'd never thought to try a toner like this before but it's a great addition before moisturiser on a morning. It sinks into skin really quickly and leaves it feeling really nicely moisturised and soft. I think I prefer this to using hyaluronic acid serum pre-moisturiser. I follow up with Q+As zinc pca moisturiser and then the new SPF and my skin is good to go for the day! I'm not keen on the smell but it is very subtle, I don't notice it when I use it (only noticed it when I first tried it and had a good sniff to see what the scent was!). The texture is lovely. Definitely recommend giving this one a go!

A pleasure to use
I'm really enjoying using this toner. I have been trialling it for the past ten days, morning and night, alongside the 5-HTP Face & Neck Cream. It has a beautifully silky, serum-like consistency which makes it very easy to apply and an absolute pleasure to use. I’ve found that a little goes a very long way and having Initially applied three drops of product but quickly realised that this was much too much, I now start with just one drop, let it absorb and then apply more if needed. My skin is left feeling soft, supple and hydrated and I have also noticed that it does a great job at de-puffing my face in the morning.

Silky and stays on!
I was sent this & invited to give an honest review after using for 1 week & this is my honest review! I will def be buying this again (truthfully! And I don't buy loads of products by any means). As it's a toner I expected it to be watery but it's a gel (which is better as watery toner gets accidentally poured away). My skin was still silky & hydrated the morning - it hadn't disappeared overnight. But somehow not greasy/pore clogging (I have enlarged pores. Historically quite oily/spotty skin but drier skin now I'm 43). Someone suggested putting it in the fridge before use & I want to try that in the summer!

Great toner
I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks and can say it’s just as good as the Q&A Niacinamide daily toner which I’ve been using since it was launched and I love. It’s really easy to apply - you just put a few drops in your hands and pat on your skin and it’s the perfect base for a serum or moisturiser. I’ve been using this with the vitamin c brightening
serum and the combination works very well. My skin is looking and feeling calm and hydrated.

Not for me
I really wanted to love this but sadly it wasn't to be. This is the third Q+A toner I've used (previously green tea and niacinamide) but unfortunately I still got the same redness afterwards, although considerably less stinging and tingling with this one. The texture was a bit more jelly like and initially it felt quite soothing and refreshing but after a few minutes the redness was there, especially on dryer areas of my face. I didn't want to aggravate my skin so unfortunately had to stop using, but less sensitive skin types might be fine.

Game changer
I normally do use a toner as I do find it helps exfoliate my skin but with the long winter this year my skin has been really suffering and my eczema spots have got worse. I stopped using my normal toner and started to use this. It was honestly so helpful as I felt it still had the benefits of a toner but was so nourishing and feels so nice on my skin. In a middle of a flare up I still used this and it was so soothing before my moisturizer. Think I am going to permanently give up my usual niacinamide toner and switch to this one.

Gorgeous product!
I got gifted this product by Q+A 2 weeks ago now, and have been using it every morning and night since then. My skin in noticeably more hydrated, softer and smoother - I have sensitive, eczema prone skin with the usual influx of breakouts and honestly, this product hasn't caused any extra breakouts or irritation for my skin at all. The soothing, gel-like consistency is packed with moisture, and I only need one blob each time. Definitely something I would purchase myself, and has revived my love for toners once more.
