So I love a tan but sadly I’m incredibly pale in fact I’m nearer blue. I’ve used probably every tan on the market. This has got to be the best. I love that I can put it on morning or night with no transfer to clothing or bedding. I took this on holiday which is always a difficult issue,you don’t want fake tan on the hotel sheets and towels but I applied this before going out at night and no trace of it on the linen and I came home actually looking like I’d been away. It smells nice and my husband didn’t complain about me smelling like a digestive biscuit. Didn’t notice any smell the next day either. Would highly recommend.

So disappointed by this product, the result is so pale you wouldn’t have known I had used the product. Using daily builds the colour better but only got 4 full body applications out of the bottle so poor value for money when compared against using one of the original formulas where you get a noticeable tan after one application (as it should be!). I regularly use the gradual tan mousse and would say that’s a far better product, you could results after one application darker than this product. Perhaps it’s a certain skin type that some products don’t work with (the in shower tan does nothing on my skin!). Will stick with the original formulas and stop wasting my money I think!

One point to clarify, you must NOT wash with any type of gel/soaps after you apply for the 1-3 hours and shower. You must only shower, after the time frame, with warm water. Do not rub with a towel to dry off. Pat dry. As many stated below, the tan does develop over 8 hours. I also use a fake bake tanning mitt. I do not care for the St. Tropez mitt. It did not evenly apply product. Fake Bake mitt is microfiber on one side and evenly distributes mousse.

Best product for tanning
Have been using this specific tan for few years and it is one of the best; the smell is not great and stains bed sheets if sleeping in it. But it leaves you with a gorgeous, even glow and not orange which is important. I can get a good 5-6 days before it starts to fade but doesn't go patchy. My skin tone is very fair/pale naturally and I apply 2 coats to get a longer glow and can honestly say it gives the nicest colour.

Good product
First time fake tanner!
After exfoliating and mositurising my dry bits like elbows and knees i applied 2 or could be even 3 layers it applied so easily and evenly. I let it dry then wore loose layers and washed it off after 8 hours.
Developing; the colour was so dark and olive toned not orange at all! Amazing colour
After washed: much less tanned but still significantly darker, slightly less olive toned once washed assumes normal tan colour
During week: even gorgeous tan!
after week; some slightly patchy bits but not noticeable at all

Lasts a good 5 days before it starts fading and even then your not as pale as before

Still smells like fake tan for two days ish
Tips
Do one layer if its ur first time it is very dark or max two
Moisturise dry areas of body for me it was my wrists where the tan got darker, i hadnt even realised they were try before

Removes tan build up for a clean canvas and exfoliates at the same time. This product is a must for self tan addicts ! I use on wet skin in the shower to scrub myself down using circular movements removing old streaky tan and dry skin ( bonus) ! If I have a tanning mishap maybe a darker bit around the jawline for example I just dampen the mitt and using my index finger inside the mitt to rub gently at the area and it corrects the tanning mistake.
