Really disappointed
After reading the reviews I had high expectations. I love Lancôme products, particularly their perfumes. I love the shape of the brush and how there wasn’t a lot of build up on the brush, however it has done nothing for my lashes. I’m very particular when it comes to mascaras, as most don’t do much for them as they’re quite straight. But even with two coats, it still looked as though I didn’t have any mascara on. I’ll play around with it more to see if I need to apply a different application, but so far I’m sad this didn’t work well for me like it has for other people!

excellent quality
easy to use , stays put and does not aggravate my eyes, I usually buy clinique mascara with the long thin brush but they have stopped doing it! But this brush is almost as good but good quality mascara

Nice brush but not the best formula
I received this mascara for Christmas and have been using it ever since. I like the brush, it coats the lashes nicely, and the initial look is stunning, with lashes looking longer and fuller. However, this flakes and smears like nobody's business, and looks deflated after a few hours of wear. I thought it might be my concealer's fault for being more hydrating, but it happens when I've got no other makeup on or when I have dry patches around my eyes.

Amazing!
If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend Lancome Idol mascara, I never had one that would last whole day without dropping, making me look like a panda at work, this one delivers at all levels, easily you can put few Coates on you lashes without clumps, it last for whole day with no smudges, no more panda effect for me , and is easy to remove with my Bi-facil eye makeup remover. After using this mascara your lashes look longer and fuller!

Best mascara from Lancome
I am usually sceptical about expensive mascaras as high street brands normally tick all the boxes for me . But this mascara is a game changer. It doesn't flakes for whole day! Even when it's time for make up remover the mascara still stays perfect! It's easy to remove ( I use Lancome Douceur Eau Micellair), it makes eye lushes long and full. I am very happy and won't change my Idole for anything else.

As lancome is one of my favourite brand i purchased this set with a full size idole mascare and 2 Minis along with 2 perfume samples . What i love in this mascare is a smooth gel texture, the volumising mascara glides effortlessly through your lashes. I find most mascaras smudge on my upper eye, especially with spf! Does this remain clean all day?
Hi, I have the same problem and yes this has worked for me, no smudging all day. I do apply my mascara last though so maybe that helps?
