First time Self Tanner - Brilliant, highly recommended
I bought this to add some colour to to my face during the winter months. I've never used any self tanning products before so was a bit nervous. I'm really impressed and there was nothing to worry about - I've got an olive skin tone naturally so was conservative initially, 2 drops in the morning with moisturiser. Worked great - by mid afternoon I was noticeably darker - very consistent, no streaking, really natural looking. I felt I could get away with a bit more colour so added 2 more drops the next day. I now top up 4 drops, once a week on a Monday. By Sunday it's faded evenly ready for the next application. Really easy to use, highly recommended.

It's MAGICAL
Hate facial tanners,they either are so runny they don't stay put and run all over my hands before they get to my face,TAN-LUXE is amazing! No grassy odour , easy dropper to control the amount used,tans BEAUTIFULLY and evenly mixed with my usuAl moisturiser,last easily 4-5 days when applied two days on trot.looks so natural,wish I'd had access to this year's ago,it's so good and worth every penny

Great results that are buildable.
I have used various self tanning products before and have been a St. Tropez fan for a few years but when I use it on my face it makes me itchy. I purchased the tan-luxe drops and have only used them on my face to really good result. If you want just a little bit of colour you can use 1-2 drops mixed with your normal face moisturiser or 3-4 drops for a deeper tan. I'm fair skinned and the medium/dark drops have been fine for me (as I say, it's buildable). I use this with my daily moisturiser under make up 3 days a week (not consecutively) and it gives me a nice, fresh summer glow.

Expensive but worth it!
I fake tan but putting it on my face breaks me out, this works amazing! mix 4 drops in with moisturiser and face looks gloomy and tan in morning, not streaky and smells lovely. Expensive but little is needed so should last a long time... also for reference i use bondi sands dark tan and this matches face well

Best one to buy
Been using for half a year, can go all out or just add a couple drops to maintain a bit of colour. Half a bottle lasted half a year. Doesn’t break me out. Great stuff

Really works
I bought this, as I tend to be so pale that people are always asking if I’m ill. I’m a mature lady so I didn’t want to look like someone from Towie. So I was pleasantly surprised. It gives a healthy glow, some colour but not too much, is easy to apply, just add to your moisturiser and it lasts ages. But don’t forget to wash your hands afterwards or they get bronzed as well!

Excellent Product
I obtained the Self Tan Drops Tan-Luxe product when I was travelling as had never seen it before. I am hooked this is the best Self Tan I have ever used and I have tried many, I will never use anything else. I would suggest the Dark as you can use as little as you wish and it will last longer. Its a shame I can not purchase in Jersey and can only order online.

The product instructions recommend exfoliating regularly so the tan stays even - if you use the tan drops and continue to wash and exfoliate your face as usual will it go streaky or patchy and how long will it last before it all washes off?

It is recommended to wash and exfoliate your skin while using the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops as this is how you achieve a perfect tan without gong streaky or patchy as fake tan works by darkening the cells on the very top surface layer of the skin, which gradually flake away over time.
Dry, dehydrated, flaky skin absorbs extra DHA, which results in streaks and blotches. Due the this fact, the lasting power can vary depending on your skin type. Oily skins will find this product lasts longer than dryer skins.

What is the difference between this and the body version? Can I not just use these drops on my body too?

I personally wouldn't recommend using one product for both areas.
The difference is the ingredients; the ingredients in a body product are very different to the ingredients in a facial product as those areas of the body require very different treatment.
For example the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops contain Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera which are targeted specifically to to the face because of their smoothing and skin boosting properties, which wouldn't necessarily have any effect on the body. Likewise, the body product might have ingredients that won't necessarily work well with the skin on the face.

Should you avoid your hairline and eyebrows with this? Or is it fine to apply all over/close to the edge of hair?
Hello,
It is advised to perform a patch test is done 24 hours prior to use of TAN-LUXE products.
Do not apply this onto broken, irritated or sensitive skin and also avoid contact with eyes.
It does not state that you must avoid contact with the hairline and eyebrows however, we would advise taking take when applying this near those areas.

What shade would be recommended for olive toned, tan skin?

In the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops, the shade Medium/Dark would be great for tanned skin.
Mix 1-4 drops to your usual moisturiser, serum or face oil in the palm of your hand and apply evenly over the face. Additional drops of the product will add depth of colour and glow to the final result.
