Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of multiple amino acids, fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin.

This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components.

It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use.

Nut-free, vegan, gluten-free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic moisturiser I have been curious to try out this brand for a long time and I had the opportunity to do so, since my daughter, upon visiting London brought me back the " no brainer set". In my opinion, this moisturiser is by far one of the best day creams on the market, when it comes to moisturising your skin - it leaves your skin so wonderfully soft and light as a feather. This brand is making a living out of delivering no-nonsense products that giveshh you exactly what you're paying for...that actually works. I can keep my moisturisers serums and oils and toners and whatnot each to themselves and use them as needed. Said in fewer words "I'm a fan"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forever repurchase! For reference, I have combination senstitive skin with acne and mild rosacea. I have been using this moisturiser for a couple of years now and I will continue to use it for as long as they keep making it. It has not irritated my skin and is soothing to use when my skin flares up. I use it during the day after serums and it sits beautifully under makeup. At night I use it mixed with a few drops of oil (I use squalane) to add more moisture overnight, and wake up with happy, healthy skin. This moisturiser never feels heavy or greasy, and does not give me more acne. I would recommend this to oily skinned people on its own, and to drier skin types with an oil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I have never been able to use a moisturizer before, because I have combination to oily skin that breaks out with any moisturizer, even oil free. But I am now in my 50s and I read a review of this that said that many people were finding it did not break them out, and at this price I thought I would give it a go. This has been an absolute game-changer! It has not broken me out at all, and I can use it with tretinoin, azaleic acid, niacinamide, and my skin is hydrated, wrinkles are smoothed, and I am not spotty! Would highly recommend, particularly if you've never been able to find a moisturizer you can use - give this one a go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's like applying silk to your skin This fab product is a hyaluronic acid silky moisture treat that is really versatile at a price you can only expect from The Ordinary. Apply before SPF or moisturiser, alone, after serums, instead of serums, or as part of a more rigorous routine without any fear that it will react. It would be easy to underestimate this product or not know what to do with it but be assured you want this in your arsenal. A pea sized amount goes a long way. Makeup applies very smoothly after using and if you don't want to faff around with your skin, this after cleansing and before an SPF will serve you well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonders I’ve been using this for around 6 months now and it’s changed my skin. The first few days of use my skin got more dry if anything but once it got used to it, my skin has become much more moisturised, less oily and clearer. I just with the squalane cleanser and I have very sensitive skin - niether product has caused me any sensitivity or flare ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure love I tried a lot of moisturizers from most expensive to cheapest , for me TO Moisturizer is equal to most expensive one. I can't Recommend this enough. Leave my skin soft after using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, unscented, simple moisturiser Great, simple moisturiser to repair/maintain the skin barrier function. It is light, unscented and non greasy. I was suffer from breakouts and sensitive skin and this has worked really well for me, on my second tube. It took a couple of days for my skin to get used to it and adjust (it didn't feel moisturising enough at first) and I don't know if it will be heavy duty enough for my dry skin in winter but this better than a heavy moisturiser with frangrance or an oil which clogs my pores. Layers over a niacinimide serum well. Will continue to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't use anything else I love this moisturiser. I'm 56 and have combination skin that needs nourishing but also breaks out at the first sign of any weight in a cream. This one I can slather on without any worries. It goes on thick and white, but absorbs in minutes leaving a matt finish, perfect for makeup. I would buy it even if it cost 4 times the price or more. It's the only thing I will use.

Is it for oily skin ?

Asked by: Ibrahim Ali
I have normal to oily skin (t-zone). I absorbs well and has more of a matt finish. It’s not a greasy moisturiser at all.
